  1. this thread title makes me think of this: John Fitzsimmons: [alternately to Sheila and camera] Well Sheila, I guess even you and your liberal cronies have found the light at the end of love with our beloved president. The intellectuals have been much agitated and now, having gotten the presidency by exploiting the problems they themselves have manufactured, he has done his best to fuel their anxieties about him. Sheila. Will you and your pack of bleeding heart liberals never learn that expanding welfare roles only accelerate inflation and inevitably hurt most those they purport to help? Sheila Hamilton: Why John, you old stick in the mud. [to camera] Sheila Hamilton: I've been listening to that horse **** of yours for months, and you can take that crap and blow it out your ass. And for good measure, sit on THIS [flips the bird] Sheila Hamilton: , John.
  2. It was 3 weeks ago. Link seriously cubbiebum, you can't see why i posted the pic?
  3. have you not seen the Cubs ineptitude at hitting good right handed pitchers enough Team OPS versus right handed pitching: 1) St. Louis .796 2) Chicago Cubs: .793 There's a difference between right handed pitching overall and top right handed the pitchers (the type you face in the playoffs). Two straight years we have been swept because we couldn't hit very good right handed pitchers. And this just in Abreu is a much better hitter than Fontenot. WE JUST HAD THIS DAMN TOPIC AND PROVED THAT THE CUBS AREN'T ANY WORSE THAN ANYONE ELSE AT HITTING GOOD STARTING PITCHING!!! YOU KNOW WHAT TEAMS HIT GOOD STARTING PITCHING CONSISTENTLY??? NONE BECAUSE IT'S GOOD STARTING PITCHING!!!!!! It's like people think there are teams out there that OPS 1200 against the best of the best and somehow don't score 1400 runs a season. http://photos-022.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v237/143/78/20718022/n20718022_36214643_3947.jpg
  4. yep, skins....ravens v. colts on cbs.
  5. two divisions, east and west, in both leagues...top two teams make the playoffs from each league....LCS's are 7 games, WS are 9 games.
  6. quit arguing with him...maybe he'll take his awful argument and go away.
  7. your mother was a snowblower.
  8. i might actually get this game down here since the titans are off...if that's the case i hope you're all prepared to watch the bears lose....although they have won the 2 games i've gotten to watch thanks to sunday nite football.
  9. had a dream that the cubs gave up 9 runs in the first...but i was playing RF so take it for what it's worth
  10. here we go with the sec knob slobbin' homerism.
  11. i love kerry wood the most out of this bunch.
  12. randy wells should probably take harden's place in the rotation
  13. or a 4 pitch inning Yes. That's what I meant. My bad. This is starting to get pretty damn ugly. If Hurricane Ike didn't gift wrap 2 wins for us, we could be in trouble. winner for most ridiculous game thread post of the day?
  14. Luckily the Cubs will still get in. i know...i was basically making a joke about how everyone is getting worked up over this game. quick, everyone make a post about how Lee sucks for grounding into another double play!
  15. cobs are going to miss the playoffs LoL.
  16. i'll take the over with rapuano behind the plate.
  17. he did it while having an aneurysm.
  18. isn't it like 14 is west virginia or something...i thought i remember seeing that somehwere
  19. color me skeptical. jesus christ...fred miller, seriously?
  20. i still think the white on white look is the sexiest in all of professional football.
  21. did you see the big write up in the tennessean about how some people believe vince quit on the team prior to getting hurt? just got done reading it and it looks like vince is falling out of favor fairly quickly around here.
  22. i'd just like to add that i LOVE the white on white uniform look....looks very tasty.
  23. this is where i parked during my one trip to cinci last year...not a bad walk and it was brutally hot that day.
  24. There is no pissing match. Historically the SEC has handled their business against all comers in football. Pac 10 didn't become relevent again, until USC started to win. Legit question, not trying to sound obxious but......if UCLA had to play either Florida, GA, or perhaps even LSU (and to a lesser degree either Alabama (and not a Alabama probation team they did a few yrs ago, but THIS YEARS Bama), and Auburn you think UCLA would have won? Prolly not. I know for a fact LSU/GA/Florida would have stomped UCLA (and chances are one of those three could and should beat USC---on the flip USC could and should beat any SEC team) into the ground. Sorry dew, but Tennessee was one SEC team I thought was severely overrated. And I don't know if people in non-SEC schools know this, but Vols fans are more the ready to send that rat fink on a bus ticket out Tennessee any day now. I'm not going to diminish UCLA's victory, and it was a great win for the Bruins, but on the flip side they did survive the game at home. So, it came to no surprise they beat Tennessee in UCLA, as they should. As for any "pissing match", there isn't one. Until the Pac 10 has more then one legit NT contender, they are just another wannabe contender to the best conference in football. With that said, event ho they are not in SEC class, I still ranked the Big 10, heck even the Big 12 ahead the Pac 10 in overall conference strentgh. you are everything I hate about SEC football fans try living in this neck of the woods...i want to stab everyone around me during football season.
