Absolutely no one should think that. Pretty sure the numbers say Heyward is Uber elite at RF and merely very good in center But you thought Happ is a better choice for CF?

Why isn't Contreras PH for Montero?

That flip was beautiful, Javy.

Just in my lifetime, Ken Griffey Jr, Omar Vizquel and (I assume) Ozzie Smith are better.

Lol, people think Happ is better than Heyward defensively.

He didn't get an AB yesterday, they IBB'd him. He struck out his first PA, was IBB'd in the 9th.

Jason Heyward gets under that ball, yawns, scratches his crotch and then catches it. Even slow-ass Almora gets it without a dive.

Apparently unnecessarily diving is contagious in Pittsburgh.

The defense has been wretched this inning. Just like in the first.

with an absolute vengeance yep Did he look awful in the first inning? The home run sucked but otherwise, it was all weak contact. Remember, it was a 2-run HR because Arrieta fell fielding a groundball and Montero threw a 15-hopper to second on a 3' hit.

Lmao Jake

Jim Edmonds is blushing at how much the Pirates dive in the outfield.

[tweet] [/tweet] There were rumors he was close to being promoted to the bigs.

Lange's given up 3 and is in the third. When I've been watching, he's working 91-94 but I've mostly been watching the Cubs game.

I'm pleased. But their offense is dangerous as hell. And their rotation is better than ours. And that's why the Brewers have run away with the division.

Montero's arm is so worthless.

I just got back from Pittsburgh. Sorry I didn't start a game thread while driving Some team player. You should've stayed in Pittsburgh since they won while you were there.

Freaking Derwood.

I hope Grimm has jumped Rondon on the pecking order.

Geez. Wade tried to take that seriously.

Cubs horsefeathering two closers that half inning.
