  1. Really appreciate seeing the horsefeathering broadcast crew split screened on that play.
  2. I thought for sure when it was hit, Russell would beat the relay throw.
  3. Impressed Hicks even got one ball in that at bat since he can't see.
  4. After those last two hits, I want to know how Hicks caught Lester's liner.
  5. Not only did he say it, he rambled on about how great he was for what seemed like an entire half inning Thank goodness for the mute button.
  6. Aaron Boone said Cowboy Joe West was the best umpire in baseball? Yeesh.
  7. I really didn't need Addison Russell's Pokémon collection taking up half the screen last week and I don't need Joe's RV taking up half He screen today. ESPN suuucks. Also Aaron Boone brings nothing.
  8. He's not going to be worth the inflated price tag.
  9. Ian Happ activated off the Iowa DL.
  10. I know he's not on the 40-man but Harrison Bader is at AAA.
  11. What are you doing, Cardinals? [tweet] [/tweet] Sierra is 21. His 81 at bats at high-A this season are his first 81 at bats above A-ball.
  12. I'd rather have Montgomery start because I think he's the better pitcher and I want the better pitcher pitching more innings.
  13. Leathersich is still in Mesa trying to get over a case of the yips. If they go with Montgomery in the rotation, I think they'll want to keep Zastryzny up. Send down Peña and bring up Johnson for now.
  14. [tweet] [/tweet] Butler pitched for AAA today so he'd be on normal rest.

  16. i mean, i'm pretty sure he wasn't trying to do this He just better not tweet out another excuse about the weather.
  17. Butler is pitching like he knows there's an opening in the big league rotation in 5 days.
  18. Man, ever since you plugged Happ into your sig, Baez got hot and Happ got hurt.
  19. Underwood ran into some trouble in the 6th - let the first two get on and Brad Markey let them score. At 69 pitches, I'm not sure de la Cruz' night is done yet.
  20. horsefeathers that. Josh Rosen's off-field concerns are that he thinks college athletes should be paid and he wore a F*** Trump hat when golfing at a Trump golf course.
  21. Rob Zastryzny's 6.88 ERA at Iowa looks bad until you realize it's 1.3 earned runs lower than Brett Anderson's current ERA.
  22. Eddie Butler is back off the DL and starting for Iowa. Lined up perfectly for Anderson's next start (though Mike Montgomery is the obvious answer for the 5th spot in the rotation).
  23. Oh good, a rogue back injury so we can send him to the DL. Good riddance.
