Wrist injuries aren't typically big issues for pitchers and are more worrisome for hitters (takes away power and can be a chronic problem). I don't understand why the Braves didn't offer the full value. If his elbow and shoulder area look fine then you shouldn't really haggle over other stuff. Anthopoulos has a reputation of doing this now - he didn’t sign first rounders Tyler Beede in 2011 or Phil Bickford in 2013.
