    I don’t have Premium but I believe this is Keith Law’s Cubs Top 10 Prospects: 1. Amaya 2. Hoerner 3. Marquez 4. Alzolay 5. Davis 6. Roederer 7. Ademan 8. de la Cruz 9. Uelman 10. Swarmer That 8-10 sure is different.

    Kiley said it was more likely Ealy would stick to football if he committed to Alabama or Clemson but baseball has a much better chance since he committed to Ole Miss.

    Nico Hoerner came in at 86 on the BP top 101 prospects list. Miguel Amaya was in the next 10. Also, Kyler Murray somehow ranked at 101. :roll:

    I’m not bothering to start a 2019-2020 thread yet: Big Joe Mufferaw: Do we have another generational prospect coming in the next few years? intl, draft or cuba or japan? 1:53 Kiley McDaniel: 2019 J2 class looks strong up top, Draft has one real standout guy right now but not generational yet, Cuba is tapped except for when new 16 year olds pop up, Japan nothing Darvish/Ohtani level

    Meh. He’s 19 and was in A-ball so his ranking amongst the best catchers throughout the minors is pretty meaningless. He can easily skyrocket towards the top of the list after anothe season or two with the hope he’s an all-star caliber catcher or he’ll end up being a defense-first backup catcher. Too many variables when you’re that far away at that position to be meaningfully compared to fellow minor leaguers.
