    Cubs get Kyle Teel. Would have preferred Enrique Bradfield who went 15th. Colin Houck - who Greg Z likes a lot - went just ahead of the Cubs to Arizona. Arizona picking at 12 is definitely going to be annoying since they love up-the-middle athletes a lot.

    Regarding Brown and the enhanced grip ball, Meghan Montemurro has a story coming out soon. It does sound like the Cubs wanted to get him to a more comparable ball at AAA.

    Haydn McGeary was promoted to AA and went 1/4 with a walk in his Tennessee debut. Jackson Ferris was promoted from extended spring training to Myrtle Beach.
