  1. Wow, I'm glad Eddy has his head in the game. Kobe Bryant said on PTI today that he was seriously considering a sign-and-trade with the Bulls this past offseason (if it was viable). Screw Kobe Bryant. I want him nowhere near the city of Chicago, except for when he comes to town to take a beating. By the way Bulls up by 9 with 6 mins left against the Griz. First game I have got to watch all year.(just got direct TV) They dont look too bad. Agreed. I'm enjoying every single moment of the LA media turning on Kobe this past week (and off and on since last season's NBA Finals). :) Bulls won 96-88! I didn't see any of the game or follow it on Gamecast, but CT told me that Curry looked good. :)

  3. Dr. Jekyll showed up today. The Bulls beat the Timberwolves 99-88 as Ben Gordon scored 31 and Kirk Hinrich had 19 points and 11 assists. :)
  4. 113-85 the final. Bulls improve to 3-13. They might only have three wins, but those wins came against the Jazz, the Lakers and the Cavaliers. http://espn-i.starwave.com/media/apphoto/ILBK10212090254.jpeg
  5. The 2-13 Bulls are blowing out LeBron and the Cavs, 101-69 late in the 4th quarter. :) For those of you outside Chicago, their Friday game against the 76ers will be on ESPN.
  6. Lakers - 84 Bulls - 92 :D Triple doubles from Chandler and Curry. Great games from Deng, Gordon (off the bench) and Hinrich. Watching the game with oodles of Lakers fans was fun. \:D/
  7. How has Nene done? I have followed little NBA since MJ retired, besides the Bulls and some playoff action, so I really don't know. I got my first chance to see the Bulls this year when they lost to the Lakers on Sunday. They look like a really scrappy bunch. I love Hinrich and Deng. has some defensive and rebounding potential but no real offensive promise. i'd say his ceiling would be pj brown. Thanks, Sulley. I'd say the Bulls could use a player like him, but they also need another scoring threat, imo. I honestly don't know what we can get for Curry, but since he's a FA, I'd have no problem going for Nene if it's the best we can get for Curry.

  9. Yah, I wanted Igoudala bad. :x
  10. I haven't, he's just a small #4 or a big and slower #3 who hasn't developed enough offensively to become a major factor. Much of that is because of injuries, but I would like to see him progress. Fair enough. Living on the West Coast, I only get to see the Bulls when they play the Clippers or Lakers and otherwise just get to see the box scores, so I really don't have a good idea. What makes most of you more excited about Curry, who really hasn't come anywhere near living up to his potential either?
  11. Yeah, I really wanted Igoudala last year too. I am guessing everyone has given up on Chandler?
  12. Sounded like a valiant effort by the Bulls. :) Thanks to CT for giving me PBP in OT.
  13. But where do we get that superstar? :| EDIT: And the Bears are a being healthy, adding a reciever or two and maybe an LT from being dominating, imo. They don't necessarily need a superstar.
  14. He's been making the rounds, we should get TWalk!
  15. Obviously you havent been a Cub fan long. I am 3rd generation. After the first generation or so, all hope disappears. The 2nd generation brings bitter disappointment and disillusionment. With the 3rd generation comes comedy, acceptance, and understanding the art form. It isnt IF the Cubs will fail so much, as how they will do it. They always amaze and break new ground in this area. Like watching Opera. Great singing and fine music, but the really good part is in the intangible area. Now dont get me wrong, I enjoy a good Cubs victory just like everyone else. I just try to avoid the suicidal lows associated with any kind of hope whatsoever. The "safe" money on the Cubs will always follow Murphy's Law. We were doomed when the first expert picked us to win it all this year. Pessimistic? Perhaps, but Realistic. Life is pain; anyone who tells you different is trying to sell you something. I guess we're just different. As soon as I'm half as negative as you, and do nothing but derive pain from the Cubs, I'll stop being a fan. I don't understand why anyone would want to follow the team if it wasn't fun. I hear ya and am in agreeance with ya, Tree. I really don't know how some of the more negative posters here survive and how they can take rooting for the Cubs if it makes them so negative, etc.
  16. I would like to have found out how he did in crucial games, as opposed to Jose Macias.
  17. I was on the Free Dubois movement. I'm definitely calling shotgun on the Jason Dubois BandWGN. I've been wanting to see him get more playing time compared to the likes of Tom Goodwin and Jose Macias. Way to go, JD!
  18. Wow. It's too late to bash away. Will do that tomorrow (though something tells me many folks here will by the time I come).
  19. Well, it did seem like he missed quite a bit of last season to injury. I'm more shocked at the health of Dontrelle Willis. Yeah I think Beckett was on the DL a few times last season, maybe the reason he had so much in the tank in October last year. Hopefully Kerry and Mark can do that this year and get the Cubs a victory in the Series. 8) Just noticed on the ESPN ticker that Beckett was placed on the DL with the blister and AJ Burnett came off the DL and will make his first start Thursday.
