    Wiggins' final line: 4 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K on only 51 pitches. Thought he might have had a chance at the 5th but I guess not. Myrtle Beach ERA down to 1.98. 16 Ks and 2 BB in 13.2 innings.

    Nice story and all but it has nothing to do with what is required of the modern major league catcher defensively, especially since most amateur catchers don't get the chance to call games.

    Apparently Fernando Cruz did an Instagram story the other day posting in-game action of the DSL Cubs Red and saying he missed playing. He hasn't played since being pulled after an HBP on 6/18.
