    The reliever risk for Wiggins is pretty high (admittedly, he could be a top-5 MLB reliever). I consider the 2 in the same tier so really don’t care who you rank higher because I think we’ll have a lot of answers to both their futures by this time next year.

    Bruce accidentally tweeting instead of DMing a coach and taking shots at Jed and Carter and calling them “twinkle dee and twinkle dum” instead of “tweedle dee and tweedle dum.” And it took him 30+ minutes to delete it. Can’t decide what the best part is.

    Palencia wasn't even a Cubs IFA. He was acquired via trade. And I don't think he ever made a top 100 list. That said, most teams don't invest much of their bonus pool on IFA pitchers. You'll see maybe 1-2 signings a year in the top 50 bonuses. The Cubs just aren't turning the smaller bonus guys into legit prospects like some other teams do. The best/only IFA arm in the Theo/Jed era that has carved out a big league career is Javier Assad.

    I 100% believe the Cubs have kept Kepley down because they’re afraid he’ll struggle at AA and confirm some concerns. That said, we're getting close enough to the TDL that I could see him getting promoted now and any scuffles might be explained as SSS. Cubs took forever to promote Ryan Gallagher last year for what I assume was the same reason but finally did it right before the TDL.

    I'm no soccer expert but to me, Pochettino's USMNT played a more pleasing style to watch and actually beat up on teams that were equal or lesser than them, unlike Berhalter's squad. And yes, some of that was having someone who could actually finish.
