  1. Everyone needs to shut up Yeah, Black Unicorn trying to deflect attention from his own [expletive] season. Am I missing something? I know he has some maddening things he does but he's had a pretty kick ass season statistically speaking. Uh, yeah you've missed the entire season if you think his has been kickass. Oh come on, number one in receptions and three in yards is hardly a shitty season even accounting for his other downsides like blocking. Even you want to make adjustments to the volume due to play calling / situational adjustments the guy is having his best season as a pro.
  2. Everyone needs to shut up Yeah, Black Unicorn trying to deflect attention from his own [expletive] season. Am I missing something? I know he has some maddening things he does but he's had a pretty kick ass season statistically speaking. His route running has been bad and his blocking has been horrific. He's done well stat-wise though. Blocking/holds is one of the thing that stuck in my mind, but even still the production is pretty hard to question unless you think its just like 30% due to our awful vertical game giving him lots of dump offs.

  4. Did you do it to every pitcher? I'd present your "full" pitcher war then do the 20%(or whatever) to the side to really underline the point of both pitcher injury and the unpredictable nature of it of it.
  5. A boy named Suh Just not sure he's worth the marginal upgrade over our current DTs vs the marginal upgrade of a few new DBs, LBs, or even edge rusher
  6. Grudges probably thinks cutler should do all the press conferences. Emery made it clear he wasnt happy with how trestman handled kromer situation. He may be gone tomorrow. I agree. He made it a point to say that Trestman was responsible for dealing with the Kromer thing, which was largely mocked by the media. Beginning stages of throwing Trestman under the bus. I don't think he's gone tomorrow but I think it's increasingly likely he's gone after the season. I missed this - when did Emery say thus or where did anonymous sources say so?

  8. Find another Lamarr Houston or Jared Allen Lamarr Houston helped our run D while he was here. Allen was always risky, just gotta hope for a fluky late career resurgence and then be smart enough to run away in 16. But yes as stated there really aren't Cutler savings. Overall we should have about 18.75 after rookie pool if the cap didn't rise, so any extra gain is gravy. Also really no cap savings to speak of that'd make sense by cuts, so that numbers pretty firm.
  9. Yeah, I think 4 WAR is probably a bit optimistic. I'd be worried about health, but I could toss that disclaimer at all pitchers (and, yes, I saw the link above - but I'm done trying to figure out pitcher health...it's more of a crapshoot than anything). His performance wasn't a fluke, even if the actual result in terms of runs allowed was a little better than expectation. Probably best to just make your best estimate at pitcher war and take off 20% (or some more scientific figure) off the board due to health.
  10. Haha I actually was getting a little bored with this exercise and thought about retaining Tucker just for giggles due to the connection . Somehow Tuckers D's there were ranked 9, 7, and 11 in pass defense (the last being when he called plays).
  11. Haha brilliant. [expletive] Colts going from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck.
  12. lol listening to Dilfer talking about his "glory" days. This must be like his therapy. I can't disagree with a lot of what they're saying about Jay, but it's all still better than the alternative (even at 16M).
  13. I was up by two before the last Bears last drive with my opponent having Forte and Bennett and was sure garbage time was going to end me. It sealed my win instead (I have Alshon). Whew.
  14. Which? We have a slew of undrafted DBs probably one of them. No the offensive lineman that's giving up pressure as if it was going out of style. I made a point to watch Groy specifically in the first quarter and he looked okay outside of his one opportunity to pull. Zoned out after that, but wouldn't surprised. I just don't think he's very athletic. Inside moves were tough for him.
  15. Best part of the 2004 team for me was I spent the last week of the season outside of the country. No internet access, no outside news of any kind. I missed the heartbreak of the meltdown!
  16. ourselves for watching

  18. There isn't a way we can actually make this respectable but I guess we might disguise the final score. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I liked Fuller before Emery picked him, sorry not sorry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. We should retain Trestman as Two point conversion coordinator. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Meatball You would probably prefer our next coach to be firey too right? :D i would prefer the next coach to be a guy who can show up to a post game interview drunk as hell and everyone still loves him. If he's functioning, can run a team, and has a driver sure, I'll love him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Lol Meatballs don't like crying though right? I'm pretty sure I read some hot takes that that was the worst part of Kromer-gate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. He was a first round pick because he was so ready for action. It's not about upside with him. If he can't handle 1s that is a problem. If he was supposed to come in and be a shut down corner year one he woulda gone top 5. Slow down there jersey. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
