  1. Wow That was insanity.
  2. It really has to suck to be Corey Webster right about now.
  3. No it wouldn't. The Cards had NO BUSINESS being the playoffs in 2006, much less winning the World Series. The Giants on the other hand would have earn it. Winning something like 11 in a row on the road, and beating TB/Dallas/GB in route to the Super Bowl, tells me, they want it. Much like the Steelers of a couple of yrs back. Don't even compare the joke of the 06 Cards to this yr's Giants team, cause they are not comparable. Sure, whatever.. "They want it" The second lowest seed in the NFC winning the Super Bowl is a joke. Flukes like that will happen now and then, but it still pisses me off when a team that's nowhere near the best wins a championship. I don't know about you but going into the playoffs, if I was going to rank the NFC teams in terms of how good I thought they were, I would have put the Giants third behind the Cowboys and Packers. Just because they're the fifth seed doesn't mean they're the fifth best team in the conference. I'm biased, but I feel like the Giants wouldn't even be there had the Bears not blown the game against them. If Hester hadn't dropped that bomb. If the defense hadn't sucked at the end. And the Bears season might have gone differently... But it's over now. I should say, I hate when a team that isn't near the best and isn't one of my teams wins a championship. Obviously, I'd have no qualms with the Cubs winning the central with 81 wins and then winning it all... :D
  4. Not a Pats fan? What's with the sig? I feel like I've been seeing that for a long time, not just the past couple weeks.... :-k Yeah, it's been there all season. Most people on here know I'm a Bucs fan though. I just put the N.E. sig in b/c everyone was whining about them. That's right.. I do remember you as a Bucs fan now. My bad.
  5. Well, I'm not winning my bet, but I can still root for perfection... And for New York to suck a fat one.

  8. The Giants winning this Super Bowl would almost be as much of a joke as the 06 Cardinals winning the Series. Screw the Giants.
  9. Wow. Even when I root for a powerhouse they can't win.* Maybe I should stop rooting for the Cubs, for your sake. *With the exception of the 90's Bulls... Jordan's awesomeness can't be overshadowed by my karma.
  10. I can't stand this freaking "We should get them," commercial.
  11. This game is ugly as can be.
  12. Young and arrogant doesn't bother me as much.
  13. I guess. I can't look that far into the future. I just despise old arrogant people for some reason.
  14. Why anyone would root against 19-0 is beyond me anyway. Those stuck up pieces of garbage from Miami deserve to be shut the hell up for good.
  15. Doesn't Petty know it doesn't look cool to wear your guitar up quite so high... jeez
  16. Ya, Prince > all the other post Timbergate (just for you, game thread pimp) performers Purple Rain in the rain was the pimp ish
  17. Almost an ELOL moment.
  18. Yea, it's not like the Pats got shafted when the Giants fumbled and somehow came up with the ball after Woods clearly recovered and was down. The refs are trying to give it to the Pats, for sure.
  19. Damn.. Eli almost did it.
  20. How are you allowed to recover a fumble by tearing it out of the hands of a guy who recovered it and is down? WTF?
  21. Not his fault.
  22. It's funny how I can suddenly root for a team almost as though they were my own when there's some $$ on the line.
  23. BOOYAH!!!!!!!!!!
  24. You guys are morans. The 2003 NLCS was awesome. I just don't get why they stopped it after 4 games. Guess they really didn't want the Cubs in the World Series.
