Let's also remember that the head to head games are sort of a double edged sword for the Brewers. With this few games left, a split is very bad for them. It gives them six fewer games in which to gain any ground. The only way those games work out significantly positively for them is if they take 5/6 or 6/6. A split or better in the Cubs favor is a very positive outcome for us. And 4/6 for the Brewers is fairly good for them, but not quite the blow they need. Either way, it's an advantage in our favor that 3-3 is a far better outcome for us than it is for them. Of course, this is all subject to change given whatever the lead is at the point that those games come up.
