    Can you possibly be serious? This team is going to have a win total somewhere in the high 90s, possibly 100+, it has one of the best run differentials of the past decade, and is 30+ games over .500. Are you freaking kidding or what? Do you think great teams don't lose 4 games in a row sometimes?

    Yeah, I hear ya...even with a loss, the Cubs are still 31 games over 500, firmly in first place with the best record in the NL...Definite panic time. How, exactly, does the situation you describe differ from 1969? There's a wild card now... which makes a huge difference Ooooo okay so we have a safety valve that will let us get swept by the Mets instead of the Dbacks. I see. lol whatever you say man.. feel free to keep flying off the handle. how have you ever survived a 162 game season? At least I'm won't be devastated when it actually happens. Prepare for the worst. Great way to watch baseball... live in constant fear of the 0.2% shot coming to fruition. Why even bother being a fan? If the worst does happen, we'll all be devastated. Don't kid yourself into thinking otherwise. Exactly

    That makes two of us. I'm absolutely expecting a collapse now. Folks, this team is perfectly capable of going 4-20 and missing the playoffs altogether. It's not likely, though. Probably no more than a 20% chance. no, it's not. hahahahh 20% chance wtf?

    We'll score one next inning, have the tying run on 3rd with 1 out... and then two guys will strike out looking on pitches right down the middle... just to make it as frustrating as possible (ala the Baltimore game)
