I'm not sure what you're arguing. You think this team is going to play at a .200 clip or something from here on out? It is a slump. It's not overly optimistic to say that a team that has won 60% of its games is in a slump when it loses 8 out of 9 or whatever we're at. Do you honestly think pressure is taking them from being a .600 team to a .111 team or whatever? FWIW, we can probably chalk one or two of these losses to poor management. Howry vs. the Astros and tonight's game immediately spring to mind. -
Seriously... that crap is obnoxious and lots of stadiums do it. And people complain about "Go Cubs, Go" If you had a stadium from this century instead of that dump, you would have fireworks and alot of other things that you don't have now. Ha, wow. Bye.

I'm sure they said that in '69. And in '84. And I remember how there was no possible way we'd lose both Games 6 and 7 at home with Prior and Wood starting. It's the Cubs. If there's a way to screw it up, they'll find it. The Cubs don't screw up any more than any other team, for Christ's sake. This losing stuff sucks, but give me a break, every single team around for any length of time has epic choke jobs in their history. I hate the "It's the Cubs" crap and would die happy if I never heard it again.
