Random 29 year olds having an amazing spring isn't quite the same as a highly touted 22 continuing to show improvement. again, i have even called breakouts for russell this year. i'm just not sure what he is doing in spring is any real cause for excitement. and i'm still excited about it. -

every time i get excited about a russell breakout (not that there won't be one - i actually think he will) based on these ST bombs, i try to remember a single one of those super human ST performances that carried over and I can't think of one. was lahair amazing in ST that year? -

I can't remember who I used to argue with this about, maybe it was you. But I don't get the LaStella hate. He played in 9 games from April to August (and I think the majority of them were injury riddled). He then played 24 games in Sept/Oct (11 starts to finally get a little rhythm) and hit .311/.360/.489 for an .849 OPS in those 24 games. He was on a tear down the stretch for us. His injuries sucked but he was good when he was healthy. he looks like a rat

a lot of people talking about how stuff like last night might happen a lot as teams are basically mad at how good we are and how our players celebrate dongs and stuff. schwarber allegedly pissed a lot of teams off last year, among others. i'm starting to get excited. -

Apparently, (tryign to paraphrase from what I just heard on radio) a woman working on some pipes had some pipes dropped on her and she sustained some pretty bad injuries to her face, neck, and back, but it didn't sound life threatening. Was taken to the hospital. -

he either can't or it's another example of how much of a horsefeathering weirdo he is because he's almost made a point of not doing it. at some point he said he thought he was dunking too much which was what caused his knee injuries. except wasn't his whole excuse for not coming back from the first injury soon enough that he wanted to be able to dunk off either leg or something like that?
