  1. I believe they introduced them in early July. It's in the CF concessions, at the very least, as the Hot Doug's signs are visible from the street level.
  2. Is there any way to get MLB.com video embedding?
  3. http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/17807232/v568805483/bryant-and-rizzo-go-into-the-souvenir-business-this We put the dong in donger.
  4. Dan Farnsworth has the Cubs missing the playoffs. See, that actually annoys me.
  5. well there's that, which is bad enough, and then there's caring who they pick to come out of the postseason diceroll in march.
  6. am i the only one who really doesn't care at all who anyone picks for the WS (or even what the projection models think on the WS)? they're basically drawing names out of a hat at that point i actually do care to some extent who they pick to win the divisions and such though
  7. http://claydavenport.com/projections/PROJHOME.shtml i can't remember what this said the first time i posted it butttt....holy horsefeathers
  8. guessing he/she has a full box
  9. given all the positional versatility on this roster, i'm fine with it
  10. anyone recall if we started 09 ranked number one? 09 and 04 are the ones that jump out at me as possibilities
  11. i put the parenthesis in for the old crotchety dudes like you
  12. this is pretty much fluff but it's kinda fun http://www.redbull.com/us/en/stories/1331785426208/kris-bryant-rapid-fire-interview
  13. TT and I are gonna throw a Rizzo dance party when the Mets are eliminated from the playoff race
  14. I had the exact same thought.
  15. There we go
  16. http://www.ballparkeguides.com/chicago-cubs-two-wrigley-food-tips.php#.Vv1XfPkrKUk looks like it was $15 whenever this was written
  17. definitely looks emaciated /mojo
  18. Should only get better now with their brand new huge clean food prep area
  19. Yeah...we don't have any crazy ass stuff and that's fine. I just want good Hot Dougs stuff in the main concourse damnit. Or at least let us walk over to the bleachers to get them (probably a lot harder to manage if they don't want people raiding the bleachers).
  20. https://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/20160331/wrigleyville/not-your-average-wiener-wrigley-fields-new-food-menu-is-sausage-paradise?utm_content=buffer03970&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer Pretty bummed that Hot Doug's is going to remain a bleacher exclusive, since you can't access them from the rest of the park. I thought they had said last year that it would be coming to the rest of the concourse stands as they renovated, and they renovated the 3B side this winter.
  21. i kinda think 7 is likely, given how many guys we have who can top out there. hell, we had one last year. and we had another half a win away who didn't play for 2 weeks.
  22. Just something I was thinking about. We have a lot of guys you can project to be around 5 win players, give or take one...Arrieta, Lester, Rizzo, Bryant, Heyward, Schwarber...you could even throw Zobrist and Russell into the mix as wild cards, just maybe not as solidly as those other guys. For reference, Harper and Trout were the only players in this category last year. Josh Donaldson was just short. Trout was around 8 the year before and just over 10 the year before that. So it's pretty damn rare. Was thinking about this and how we don't have a super-duper star like those guys, but with that many opportunities, we might have a guy have enough things to go right to get there, or just some crazy breakout waiting to happen from a guy who is already damn good (i.e. Addison...he has the skill-set being a premium defender at a premium position where if he can be just a pretty good offensive player, he's going to put up big time WAR totals). BTW, It's very hard to get there as a pitcher, maybe even impossible by practical standards, so I shouldn't have even mentioned Arrieta and Lester. Kershaw and Jake didn't even get there last year and they were ridiculously amazing for 230 innings. I just listed them because they fit that 5ish win description. Vote and discuss.
