    10, considering the Cubs starters have gone 13 for 13 in quality starts so far, and Cahill is about 4th in line to replace a starter should they need one. after warren i would rather see cahill get a start than the rest of them

    why would that be surprising? ideally, no, but i think that the likelihood that the 6th or 7th SP on your depth chart gets a start at some point is probably better than 50%

    Whose calling the pitches - is it Montero or the dugout? probably a combo of both, but the cubs propensity to do that is probably part of a general strategy/gameplan being implemented

    Because you only get one of them so why waste it? because it's the 8th inning of a 5-run game so why not? bingo...a higher reward opportunity isn't all that likely and, correct me if i'm wrong, but it seems like the number of challenges you get isn't all that meaningful in this system anyway. it seems like they usually look at anything close if a fuss is made.
