If we pick a CB or RB they basically have to play ST or there isn't a roster spot for them. It's definitely a factor at this point, particularly for RB. I still want a S too, but maybe they think Rolle will bounce back. d'oh...when i typed CB, i was thinking secondary, but yeah, it'd be nice if they could pull another amos out of their asses

I thought that was Trestman's philosophy. It's typical of zone blocking teams, which we aren't really, though we're not a power scheme totally either. aren't we trying to go that way? i'll admit my knowledge of x's and o's is extremely rudimentary

i think we value high end interior line play more highly as long as we can be adequate on the edges. lots of shotgun and lots of quick throws nowadays. I thought that was Trestman's philosophy. it's not only trestman's philosophy...and i think the saints are pretty known for it too

i'm a sucker for defensive line play so i really want more more more i get wanting to pick up dudes at TE/CB/RB though
