  1. Explain please len was trying to get jd to guess a player and one of his hints was something like "you might serve dinner on his first name" and jd goes "hmm...platter jones!"
  2. he's been fine since coming back up Has he? yes http://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playerid=16478&position=OF&type=&gds=2017-07-06&gde=2017-07-25&season=
  3. i still can't believe this stuff is real It didn't occur to me until now that it may be fake. But, he is from Milwaukee originally. he has a blue check he also won the brewers fan raffle a few weeks ago iirc
  4. He's struck out looking 5 times in the last month. hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa i was hoping someone would post something like this add to that the top of the fact that i've never heard someone refer to a pitcher dropping in a curve for strike 3 referred to as "watching 3rd strikes right down the middle" even if it's actually literally located in the middle of the plate
  5. i noticed it and hated it the first time i saw it yup. every time someone hits the ball at him im like jesus christ i gotta watch this horsefeathers throw a ball again i literally just thought exactly that on that DP
  6. just two bad defensive OFers robbing eachother's xbhs
  7. hey melky that's almost as unbelievable as when you robbed KB
  8. you live in the chicago area and you've somehow managed to avoid seeing him til now?
  9. [vine][/vine] What is it about his Ks that needs to be mitigated, assuming the on base and slugging are there?
  10. [tweet] [/tweet]
  11. Though if they want to make fun of the whole "waving to the dugout after getting a hit" thing, I'm OK with that. [tweet] [/tweet]
  12. Their fans on twitter are the best. Mention Coors and they will actually debate that the environment there isn't any different than anywhere else. Mix in Petriello having to explain why Bryant is better than Arenado on a daily basis and it's just so much fun to watch Holy horsefeathers. I met a Rockies fan on my work trip last week and you basically just described him exactly. Arenado v Bryant was the biggest argument he had for me, but he did spend some time explaining how it's not the environment, basically every single pitcher in Rockies history has just been bad. And Aaron Cook is proof that the environment isn't an issue for some reason. They are probably the same people arguing against climate change despite mountains and mountains of evidence that destroys any argument they could have. eh i still think the coors effect on overall numbers is overstated a tad considering it tends to make their players suck on the road too
  13. He's Adam Dunn right now. That doesn't mean he always will be, but my friends who keep shouting about his "60 hit tool" can pound sand until/unless he actually starts hitting tell me more about these friends constantly bringing up schwarber's hit tool seriously what the hell lmao
  14. i was gonna say shields was going to strike out kb like all 4 times we go through the order in his 3 innings
