  1. is willson even more humble than javy RELATIVE SCALES I GUESS I just don't think there ever would be a 'I'LL DO WHATEVER THE horsefeathers I WANT" moment from Willy. But man oh man can he pimp home runs, he does the Aramis walk off home run on pretty much every one he hits. i mean he beats his chest and does a hulk scream after every big hit willson has prob showed more big league swag than javy (not that that's easily done)
  2. counterpoint - when you look like you hit a pop up and actually hit an oppo HR, you're pretty horsefeathering strong
  3. this is amazing that said, couldn't we have accidentally had someone on base for one of these damnit
  4. he literally asked "has he really been that bad in the field?" i answered his question and qualified the wording. i didn't jump on horsefeathers.
  5. not really but if that's how you want to read those conversations, go nuts fwiw i was saying all offseason that there was no way baez would come all that close to those defensive numbers again this season and i think it's weird to complain about bryant basically matching his career numbers to this point. probably underperforming a little bit given the environment now but definitely nothing that crazy considering it's baseball. and, again, in bryant's case, much like baez, a lot of the value you're seeing missing compared to last year is based on defensive numbers which can be super flukey year to year
  6. sure, if you call that "bad" Sorry "bad" relative to expectations considering last year we were laughing about how far in 1st he was in DRS at 2B without enough innings to qualify never thought it was reasonable to expect him to grade out obscenely good like that again
  7. if there was a clear replay that showed he held the bag then i missed it. i, too, didn't think he was able to hold it - but of course it was never brought up on the air from what i heard. i'm watching the cubs broadcast replay looked like he landed it. len and jd talked about it briefly, too.
  8. lol i thought there was no way he didn't get the neighborhood call on that but i guess he actually had the bag
  9. Rizzo's power has been good this year. I feel like he's the only Cub that's really taken advantage of the juiced balls, Willson too probably. i'd say schwarber's power has been pretty good
  10. Schwarber since returning from Iowa .257/.342/.557 .375 wOBA 130 wRC+ yes, he's had an ugly couple of at bats lately, but i think you're overstating things a tad
  11. has he ever been on the DL? this seems like an "over-the-top meatball" take for sure Just makes a lot of awkward slides/lunges and seems to come up cringing a lot. most fragile player ever confirmed
  12. sure, if you call that "bad"
  13. damn it jay don't do it. stop scrambling your brain.
  14. god i hope ptr doesn't horsefeathers this up and get gun shy about giving harper $450M or whatever
  15. Finally a Bryant coming through in the clutch. The fans want it post. Was that by one of the wives or someone else? both of those are from KB's wife's instagram stories
