    in seeing this i tried to come up with mine and i kept going between cutler, urlacher, and mike brown. I mean Cutler definitely has a huge place in my heart, but a good 30% of that is basically the cult of Smokin Jay/don't care Jay. I thought about throwing a "among non-HOF player" clause in there cuz of Urlacher. Brown is a good one too though. when i was a kid, it was raymont harris, the ultra back. i have no idea why, because he wasn't all that good.

    I thought we found out he was hurt. Is he only able to hit and not pitch right now? he has some sort of elbow ligament injury but he is pitching...i believe he did the platelet rich plasma injection thing at some point. but either way, yeah, he pitched the other day.

    Random thought I just had...did Lester feel as fait accompli as Harper does right now? I can't quite place myself there but I remember there being a lot of talk that Theo would go after his old guy that offseason. Obviously, we weren't near as easy a sell as we are now, so that probably changes things a lot, but I remember being pretty confident that we'd get him leading into that offseason.
