    It was called "Addison Russell is awesome and deserves a thread" until the whole 'maybe possibly hit his wife' thing happened. i want to say that was a different thread because i thought i started that one in 2015 around when/before he came up but i could be wrong edit - nevermind, it absolutely was this one. i could've sworn we had a russell thread in 2015 tho.

    Given that the Bears already have one guy rehabbing a knee injury at the same position, I find it highly unlikely that they sign another guy with the same exact problem. I think they figure out a way to swing a deal for Landry that doesn't break the bank. i don't find them seriously pursuing or signing allen robinson highly unlikely by any definition of those words

    Hearing that they're going to let Fuller test the market and report back to the Bears with what other teams are offering and the Bears are expected to match anything not outlandish. For reference, this approached worked for the Bears with Lance Briggs back in the day. Don't understand why they wouldn't just do that with the transition tag

    in seeing this i tried to come up with mine and i kept going between cutler, urlacher, and mike brown. I mean Cutler definitely has a huge place in my heart, but a good 30% of that is basically the cult of Smokin Jay/don't care Jay. I thought about throwing a "among non-HOF player" clause in there cuz of Urlacher. Brown is a good one too though. when i was a kid, it was raymont harris, the ultra back. i have no idea why, because he wasn't all that good.
