  1. What's Kendall Wright's market gonna look like?
  2. This is so cheesy that I actually like it [tweet] [/tweet]

  4. yeah i can't wait to hear a ton of white sox, blackhawks, and 70's rock talk.
  5. ha...i ran into connor mcknight at a wrigleyville bar once (apropos of nothing, he was with some insanely good looking women who i think worked for the loop or some other similar station). i asked him if he thought bernstein was an horsefeathers and he replied in the affirmative.

What the hell are the Vikings going to do if Cousins doesn't pick them?
  8. I had no clue that was going on. Guess that could be it. Ugh.
  9. would they just go back to mac and spiegel and put parkins with bernstein? the latter would be a show i could really get behind, while anything with mcneil i'm not sure i'd even turn on. mcneil seems to actually hate bernstein (and bernstein clearly doesn't have much respect for him) so i'd be shocked, but i guess i could see them doing it if desperate for ratings.
  10. Any updates on Trey Burton's market? We know the Bears were interested.
  11. Wait, is Spiegel out too? Why is Parkins on by himself right now? Will it be Spiegel and Bernstein + Parkins and McNeil?
  12. And hell, maybe Nagy and his staff can manage to get something out of Kevin White...obv he never was healthy enough to even see it happen, but even if he had been, Fox/Loggains weren't going to put him in the best position to succeed (yeah, I know year 1 was Gase).
  13. Garbage. I don't love Goff (mainly because of how little he seems to know/care about baseball) but I liked him...McNeil should be stuck selling cars in NW Indiana.
  14. It's pretty crazy that within like 2 months of taking the job, Theo made a trade that will eclipse any from Hendry's tenure, including a few that were really horsefeathering good.
  15. Personally swatting down whatever that little thing was that the Pirates had going on for a couple of years. This will be the enduring Arrieta memory for me. First playoff appearance of the Theo era, franchise on a 9 game playoff losing streak, wild card winner-take-all game on the road. He crushed their souls so badly they threw at him just to try and get him off his rhythm. Arrieta responded by stealing second base, and then finishing the last 3 innings of the complete game shutout. He was a horsefeathering bad ass and I'll always love him.
  16. he felt completely on the verge of being andy pratt most of the time. his 2016-17 self reminded me of marmol when he was still good but not nearly as dominant anymore bc teams just stopped swinging
  17. It started getting to me last year. Welcome to the club. Honestly, it probably started in the 2016 postseason for me. The moment he brought Chapman in during game 6, I started doubting whether I wanted him here. In these quotes we have one normal guy making a joke and two nut jobs who actually question whether they want Joe Maddon managing the Cubs.
  18. Stone is a ball buster and a half tho
