No, he doesn't. He's not without heat though, he consistently touches the low 90's. -
People who need an excuse not to like him, and have no other proof besides the (unfortunatley) accepted myth that he is a poor defender. Walker is a poor defender, that's no myth.

I'm sure he was already up and warming once Ohman retired Lopez in the 7th. Especially with Griffey and Dunn to follow. Makes sense for him to come into the game in that spot. There's plenty of time to get Guzman up during the last half inning, it was 6-2 after the first HR, and 8-2 after the second HR with only one out. Besides today, he's only pitched once in this series and that was on Friday. He'll be fine. Today makes twice in4 games by my count. I don't doubt that. I care about Guzman, who's going to rot away if he's not even going to be used in situations like this.

Last year, Fox was coming back from injury and wasn't able to pitch several days in a row. That fact was lost on Dusty, who threw him 3 times in 4 days(64 total pitches) and he threw his arm out for good on that last outing. I'm not defending Dusty or anything, but Fox did say he told Dusty he could go and pitch that night he blew his elbow for good. Of course he did, everyone tells the manager they can keep going. EDIT: Forgot to mention that the Cubs were winning 10-3 in the 9th when Fox came into that game.

Portugal was pretty unlucky too, with chances like the Ronaldo header and Ronaldo's strike off the ground ball you're going to score a goal a lot of times. -
Is it like 1.500 against RHP? Geez. Well, it's in the .950's overall, so I'm guessing it's about .900

Everyone knew that he was an injury waiting to happen and that he only had so many bullets left in him. Dusty apparently never got the memo. 29 pitches the day after he threw 20.

Well I guess we have to baby their arms then. Not letting our starters consistently throwing 120+ pitches isn't babying them in the slightest. That's an exaggeration and oversimplification of the argument.
