  1. My appreciation level for Lou just dropped a notch. And it's not like Izturis has ever had success against Sheets. Hopefully, this line up concoction will be short lived. After 4 games last year, I had a long list of things that I felt Dusty did wrong. After 4 games with Lou, the only thing I've second guessed on him is taking out Marquis an inning early. Not bad. I'm second guessing him on Izturis, and I hope I end up being wrong and Izturis has a great day in the 2 hole. But, Izturis just isn't an OBP hog and he's better suited to hit at the bottom of the order. What about pinch hitting Cedeno instead of....anyone else? Anyone else = Blanco? Ward or Floyd against a LHP?
  2. Don't ever do this again Lou. With any luck Izturis will continue to get humiliated against Sheets enough to convince Lou never to put him up there again.
  3. Am I the only one that thinks that Guzman can be an effective reliever? I've been calling for him to go to the pen for a couple years now.
  4. I don't know what you're talking about, that's the best part about him
  5. It's really incredible how Hill can give up 3 consecutive "non-outs", strike out a guy an inning, and still only be at 64 pitches after 6.
  6. Sweet christmas Rich Hill is reaching Michael Wuertz level of awesomeness
  7. Johnny Estrada looks like he has a new role model.
  8. Just saw the replay, Chris Burke looked worse than Bill Hall did on Floyd's triple.
  9. 3 K's and only 18 pitches through 2 Best game ever
  10. Geez, you normally don't see the catcher's neck snap back on a foul tip like that.
  11. Wow, Soriano should've hit that pitch about 800 feet.
  12. Both of mine. Fortunately Hill is going in both too.
  13. No kidding, Fielder could've gunned Ramirez pretty easily with a solid throw. Barrett, woohoo
  14. Every pitch he throws is a balk. You can't break from your glove and then go back to it. wtg Fonz
