  1. Well he was named by an NBA player and his brother is in the NBA. His father was also in the NBA Are you assuming that soccer thinks his mother was an NBA player? Who else would have named him?
  2. The second tier is having a decent day. Vogelbach hit one, too.
  3. The problem with it being May is that "deadline rumor" sounds pretty lame at this point, too. Define "shut down reliever" - for example, is Strop a shut down reliever? How many of those guys are out there and how many will be on the block?
  4. Would one of their pitcher's have to be put on the DL for him to come back up before like 10 days? I forget the rules or if there even is one. Somebody would have to be put on the DL if it is within 10 days. Doesn't matter if it is a pitcher or not. I would guess it could also be the concussion list, bereavement list, etc.
  5. Would it count in seven hours? I don't see why it being June would help?? Yeah, fine. I'm blanking. What's the right term for the summer trading season?
  6. Would it count in seven hours?
  7. That's somehow even lazier than the Cards' efforts.
  8. Posted an article on the front page. Weird, right?
  9. This is really the key. If you told me he's got Ross-level receiving skills, I might put him as the #2 guy in baseball right now behind Moncada. But if he has Castillo-level receiving skills, he's much further down the list.
  10. I figured Urias was disqualified from your list because he's had a day of service time.
  11. Depending on the latest scouting reports on respective defense ability, Bregman.
  12. http://www.nj.com/yankees/index.ssf/2016/05/mlb_trade_rumors_yankees_chicago_cubs_talking_nath.html I won't comment on most of this since it is entirely speculation. I just love this quote: sneaky should post in 5...4...3...2...1
  13. I'll start. Moncada. Now it's someone else's turn.
  14. Now I just need to remember my php/javascript programming so that I can add a lot more to the site. Has there been anything in the many incarnations of the front page that people actually enjoyed?
  15. So, I've done a bit of work to the front page since Duke has agreed to write some articles for the site. Check it out and let me know what you think. Other than needing a whole bunch of content, of course.
  16. I'll take that outing in a heartbeat.
  17. It was a two year trend in the wrong direction. There was more than enough reason to worry.
  18. He didn't like this talk about Eloy being the #1 prospect.
  19. Even I'm ready to admit that he looks damn good right now.
  20. seriously, I want my $150 for advertising.
  21. There are currently three teams in baseball with a winning percentage of .600 or better. There's Boston at exactly .600. Then there's SF at .608. The Cubs are at .708.
  22. I've never once seen a tattoo that I thought improved the look of a person. But that's just my personal opinion.
  23. They're still new to the whole analytics thing.
