  1. I'm the worst Manager in all of Fantasy Baseball. If I just thought up a plan and did the exact opposite I'd be in good hands. My bench has outscored my starters the past 3 days, and benching Zimmerman today hasn't helped (2 RBI)
  2. Well so much for the honeymoon period of dusty not being a complete and utter dumbass.
  3. 1. R. Freel, CF J. Pierre, CF 2. F. Lopez, SS J. Hairston Jr., 2B 3. A. Dunn, LF D. Lee, 1B 4. R. Aurilia, 3B M. Murton, LF 5. S. Hatteberg, 1B A. Pagan, RF 6. A. Kearns, RF R. Cedeno, SS 7. B. Phillips, 2B N. Perez, 3B 8. D. Ross, C H. Blanco, C 9. E. Milton, P C. Zambrano, P
  4. Weren't people cheering against his option vesting last year (i.e hoping he had bad outings)? A fickle crowd I see.
  5. Are you assuming Wood isn't healthy? While your rotation isn't bad, I'd prefer Zambrano, Prior, Wood, Maddux, Miller...especially if each is pitching near his 3-year average. In fact, if Wood, Prior and Miller return to pitch somewhere in that range, we will have one of if not the best rotation in the league. See but the thing is I didn't have that feeling about Wood last year. I never thought he'd get healthy and stay healthy - even after that 7 inning 1 ER game against the Fish. But this year it's almost like the stars are alligned or something. I don't think it's just false optimism right now, but maybe it is. I have a really strong gut feeling that Wood is gonna come back and pitch like Kerry Wood for the rest of his season. I don't know what it is, but I just feel like he will. I agree and feel the same about Prior. I have no idea why because no rational human being should feel like that right now, but I do. Same for me on both of them. And third that for Miller. Oh...being a Cubs fan :)

  7. Nolasco gave up 4 hits, a BB and 1 ER + an inherited runner in 1 2/3 IP today. Mitre wasn't very good yesterday and Borowski gave up 3 runs yesterday.
  8. And then have story time. I think Demp should be required to sit down and tell a story to all cubs fans after each Save conversion.
  9. I love how that piece of crap refuses to walk and then pops out all the time. I hope he suffers a season ending injury.
  10. You and a few others should have a party together and the theme should be: "Ridiculous premature comments that oppose all logical thought." I'd come, it'd be a blast. I'll even bring the jello shots. That's a little harsh. It's a JOKE. That's why I said I'd bring the jello shots. Though, thinking Dunn is going to hit a 3run HR against a guy who he's K'd against 6 times and is 1/9 against would satisfy the theme of the party.

  12. I think he thought there was a hit and run, but there really wasn't. No Big deal.
  13. WOW that was a bad 7th inning stretch. Who the hell was that?
  14. [sarcasm]But the Worst Defensive Catcher EVER.[/sarcasm]
  15. Why does it seem like in 2003 Pierre was on base ALL the time against us, creating havoc and NEVER grounding out to anyone, but now he weakly grounds out ALOT to everyone?
  16. Well that's what "worthless" speed does for you.
  17. Let's stop the Neifi hating. Everytime he's played he's done well. He's one of the worst hitters EVER in baseball. He doesn't belong on a World Series contending team. Which I guess is why's he's on ours. :?
