I remember always buying Upper Deck Collector's Choice as a kid. They were cheap, maybe 1.25 a pack, but they came with 12 cards and had some cool looking inserts. I almost finished the 1997 set, with the rookie card likes of Dmitri Young, Bobby Abreu, and of course, Neifi Perez.

That was tough loss for you guys yesterday. I watched some of that and I underestimated kU. It's gonna be a battle in Columbia this year. So you think Mizzou will beat them? I hope so, but their running back scares me a little bit. It's gonna be much different facing this team than Texas Tech. I don't think it'll be much of a battle in CoMo this year. We turn the ball over, and we have trouble stopping the pass. Not a good recipe against you guys. I'm very depressed about this team. We should be 6-0, and we're 3-3. I'mm really starting to wonder if Mangino's the guy. I think tech is a better team than aTm, and you guys handed it to them. We moved the ball fairly well through the air against aTm w/ our back-up qb. Daniels will have a field day against them. As long as your run defense shows up, I don't see aTm as being a problem. If it's a road game, that MIGHT equalize a bit, but from what I've seen, you guys look pretty good. I think OU is the only team on your schedule with a good shot of beating you, unless you play UT, too. Oh, you guys will pants Nebraska big-time. Please stop telling us that we're good. It worries me for some reason. The aTm game is in College Station. I'm worried about how we handle Lane+Lewis+McGee, but on the plus side Ziggy Hood will probably be back for that game(he broke his foot against UNM) to help as a run stopper. I agree about OU being the best team left on the schedule, although winning in Lincoln will be a tough task, and we won't play UT unless it's in KC for the BXII Championship. We'd get an amazing crowd in KC if we somehow make it there. I know I'd make the trip. Getting Ziggy back will be huge. The freshman who stepped in for Domonique Johnson had a solid game IIRC, so I'm not too worried about him. Their RBs are excellent, especially the 275+ pound guy, but we got the guys to shut them down. We gotta score early like we have all season (72-3 in the first quarter), and get the 12th Man out of it.

What are the odds Herbstreit picks Missouri to lose again? Yesterday he said he needed to see Mizzou win to show him they were for real, so I wouldn't be surprised if he went with them this week. I don't blame him for the last two weeks, Colorado was a classic trap game, and we were road underdogs yesterday. Huge game for Mizzou. IMO, A&M is a lesser team than Tech, but their environment is tougher to play in. It'd be huge to go 7-0 going into the two-game homestand vs. KSU and vs. OU. A 7-0 start would HAVE to get us some respect, right?

This team is awesome.

People wonder why my fantasy football team is so good. I'll tell you why: 4/9ths of my team is Grossman, Berrian, Gould, and Bears D.

I think we found ourselves a solid #1 for a long time to come.

Mizzou wins 38-21! Defense got a little shaky there briefly, but it didn't matter, they forced 5 turnovers. This team is so much fun to watch, I love it. Hopefully now we can start getting a little more respect.

Mizzou recovers a fumble on the TTU side of the field and they take over! Under :30 left in the 3rd. This is the defense I know and love.

I have full confidence in this team, and we are in great shape to win this game. However, the swing of momentum has been huge in the last half of the second quarter. We gotta go out there, get a big stop, then score. This game is ours if we want it.

Gotta stop the bleeding. It was 24-0, now it's 24-10. No more turnovers. This is the biggest game of the season. Win, we're 6-0, and we finally gain some respect. Lose, and everyone says "they didn't beat anybody" and we are out of the top 25. Time to show everyone what this team is made of.
