    Agreed. I will forever love Sammy, and I hope he comes back and has a solid few years and goes out the way he should have. PS if the Cubs sign him ill be insanely ecstatic.

    Well, that was ugly. Still a fun trip to Lincoln though. Beautiful stadium, great atmosphere, and the Husker faithful were amazingly friendly. I had a great time, minus the score. I also got this posted on my Facebook wall: "You know when the camera pans into the audience looking for a pissed off fan of the team that's getting their [butts] handed to them? Yeah...you are now THAT guy. Congrats." So I guess all wasn't lost. Someday, Chase Daniel is going to be a GREAT quarterback in this conference and the nation, but he has a lot of work to do. He's just looked lost these past two weeks. I don't know what his deal is. Temple looked surprisingly good today. What a difference hitting the hole makes instead of dancing. Once we make it to some mediocre bowl game, and hopefully win, fire all the coaches (or at least the coordinators, I'm not all that anti-Pinkel).

    I leave at 3 am for the Mizzou-Nebraska game. I'm pretty pumped. I'm nervous, but I think Mizzou is gonna come out pumped up and pissed off. Win this, and the North is ours. Tigers by two scores. Go Tigers!

    Winner likely gets the opportunity to get killed by Texas in the Big XII title game? Nebraska had Texas all but beat last week. Mizzou went to Tech and handled them on their homecoming while Texas needed a big comeback to beat them in a rivalry game. On the other hand, Texas did handle OU while Mizzou lost to them at home. Add in the fact that the game is being played in KC, I don't think that either team will get humiliated if they play Texas(who could lose the South if aTm wins their rivalry game). I know Callahan is throwing the ball more, and that's how they beat us, but prior to that game they were really running the ball well. Is Nebraska still doing well on the ground? If so, how does that bode for Mizzou. I know aTm ran it on you guys pretty well. Our run defense is not good. Should be interesting. By the way, Oklahoma's running back Patrick Allen hits the hole as hard as about anyone I've ever seen live. Temple and the rest of Mizzou's running backs should take note. Smith being out hurts. The linebackers seemed non-existent vs. OU. As for Temple, I wish he'd just take a seat on the bench and make way for Goldsmith and JJ.
