  1. i guess i see your point there Zito's LD%-GB%-FB% 2002: 19.8% - 34.5% - 45.7% 2003: 18.5% - 39.3% - 42.2% 2004: 18.8% - 37.0% - 44.2% 2005: 21.7% - 40.9% - 37.4% 2006: 16.5% - 38.2% - 45.3% Lilly's LD%-GB%-FB% 2002: 18.0% - 33.9% - 48.1% 2003: 27.7% - 33.3% - 38.9% 2004: 18.9% - 35.1% - 46.0% 2005: 22.1% - 36.7% - 41.2% 2006: 19.3% - 37.7% - 42.9%
  2. Can you imagine Zito when the wind is blowing out at Wrigley... Ugly, ugly stuff. KCtigers, what were Schmidts GB, LD, and FB percentages the last year if you don't mind looking it up for us... GB - 37.4 LD - 19.3 FB - 43.3 Career-wise though Zito's (and Lilly's too) GB, LD, and FB percentages are very comparable to Schmidt. Why does everyone want to bring in Schmidt over Zito? Schmidt's GB, LD, and FB percentages from 2002-06 are: GB - 38.6 LD - 20.2 FB - 41.3 Zito's from 02-06 are: GB - 38.0 LD - 19.0 FB - 43.0 Lilly's from 02-06 are: GB - 35.4 LD - 21.5 FB - 43.1 So why are people so anti-Zito here? Besides the risk of an arm injury, which is possible for any pitcher, I don't really get it.
  3. That's a lot of good players for Manny.
  4. Mizzou beats Coppin State. 98-77. Next up is Arkansas, which will be my first game of the season. It'll be tough to go 8-0, but from what I've seen from the team on TV, they can do it.
  5. Anyone listening to XM whatever to see if they are saying anything?
  6. Are you sure that soon? Usually it would be announced later sometime in the week.. That would be awsome though if they announced it today... Nothing's happened regarding the Cubs since last Sunday. I'm bored and dying for something good to happen... every day is one day closer to opening day - that's good! It won't be if we don't add some pitching.
  7. Didn't want this to fall off the first page already. Time to bounce back and get Rex throwing some of those crisp passes we saw earlier in the year. Go Bears!
  8. Wow. Detroit isn't going to win another game.
  9. Well that's pretty obvious. He's had the likes of Matthews, Chandler, Miller, Krenzel, Orton, and Burris as QBs on the same team as him. I would hope that a first round draft pick could be better than any of those guys. I have a friend who is a Bucs fan who thinks Griese absolutely sucks. Grossman gives you guys the best chance to win out of the 3 QBs that the Bears have. So many people want Rex benched, how would a less mobile Griese do any better vs teams that blitz the house? Not better, probably worse is my guess. Being mobile isn't all it takes to beat the blitz. Good vision, a quick release, and ability to read where the blitz is coming from are all more important than being mobile. Dan Marino wasn't going to outrun anyone, but you'd be hard pressed to sack him because of those three things.
  10. Wow, I just saw the Kiwanuka play in the Giants/Titans game. Unreal.
  11. Lugo is the only answer here, and it needs to get done.
  12. grossman, you're never going to be more than a first round dud. you suck. you cannot throw a pass to save your life.
  13. JOE BUCK: "LIGHT WAS TRYING TO PLAY PEACE MAKER" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? HE WAS SHOVING TILLMAN! CHRIST.
