  1. I have no idea wtf he was saying, and it may just be because im drunk, but that sounded really creepy after like the 7th time he said it.
  2. I was going to say that while the OPS is nice, I'm not very high on SB guys, and then I saw his 90% success rate last year and his 80% success rate for his career. I'd love it if Hendry made a move for him. Although as a leadoff hitter, his OBP leaves much to be desired. Yeah I definitely wouldn't want him as our leadoff guy, but I wouldn't mind him at #2, even though this would be my preferred lineup: Soriano-Murton-Lee-Ramirez-Jones?-Barrett-DeRosa-Rollins bat him 8th, have someone with a decent OBP at the end of the order getting on base for Soriano and Murton (and Z and Marquis and Prior), and you have a very solid lineup there IMO.
  3. Whatever keeps Ron Rivera in Chicago makes me happy.
  4. I say we lock this thread until 2:00 PM CT on Sunday. This is getting out of hand.

  6. Let's see what Detroit wants for Guillen, he's in his last year of his deal, right? :-D
  7. I have no problem with everyone besides John Clayton picking against the Bears. It'll be that much more fun when the Bears stomp the Saints. PREDICTION: Bears 31 Saints 16
  8. I still say the best pass I've ever seen Rex throw was the TD to Berrian last week. What a perfect ball.
  9. I could totally be happy with a DeRosa-Theriot middle of the field.
  10. Thats crazy. Thats like saying quarterback is even because Brees and Grossman are both capable of making big plays. There is a huge difference in the numbers between the two guys. I wouldn't go so far as to call it crazy. One thing to consider is that Devin has had twice as many punt returns this season as Bush, and that Bush is getting better with every game that goes by with all aspects of his game, receiving, rushing, and returning. Not trying to be a homer or anything, but I think Bush will have a less than stellar game. This will be the fastest defense and ST he's faced I'm sure.
  11. Let's get Renteria too. Actually, if it came down to it, I'd rather have Renteria than Jones. A CF-SS duo of Pie-Renteria is much more appealing to me than 1 year of A. Jones and Izturis.
  12. It doesn't matter where my expectations are, I'll be more than upset with a loss. That being said, my expectations are through the roof. I like building myself up for a huge downfall.
  13. Only way we have a chance to win is if Brown or Hannah decide to pretend to be Thomas Gardner from last year's game. That game was so awesome.
  14. Apparently Mizzou plays Kansas tonight @ Allen Fieldhouse at 8:00 CT on ESPN. Kansas will win by 40.
  15. Tomlinson shook a few hands and then headed off, some of the Patriots' players held him back to shake his hand and one of them pushed him from behind and continued to celebrate right next to him. Ah, I didn't see the push from behind, or the handshakes at the beginning. At first I thought, if he didn't want to shake hands, don't go on the field. I also thought they were just trying to shake his hand, I didn't see anyone celebrating. Pretty classless.
  16. Seconded. Brady had a crappy game today, threw in one good drive, and won. Unbelievable. So damn mad right now... Crap. I don't even care. Bears could beat either of these teams Somone's riding the high off of a win... :P Haha no, I just think that the Bears have a chance to win if they play one of those teams. I wouldn't say the same thing about playing the Chargers or even the Ravens.

  18. What was with the LT thing at the end?
