    Fat Froeming got him suspended. c'mon, be serious. Kicking dirt on an umpire got him suspended He was suspended because they claimed he actually kicked the umpire. He likely would have been suspended anyway for kicking the dirt on the umpire and going on like he did. It just wouldn't have been indefinitely. Lou brought part of this on himself. It's only "indefinitely" because they haven't sat down and met to figure out a timeframe yet. That'll happen tomorrow.

    I think something like that would piss Z off. I know it shouldn't, especially if he had a chance at making a World Series run and then resigning with us, but I could see that bruising his ego.

    I agree completely. Remember when Lou exploded in Seattle a few years ago (we've all seen the video) and was screaming at Angel Hernandez I think it was? Lou got tossed, and Angel just stood there the rest of the time, almost fighting back a laugh, and never did anything else. He let Lou state his case and that was it. That's how it should be done. Today's umps annoy the living crap out of me.

    I voted MacPhail. Poor Riggs is on the list. You can't hate Riggs, it's not his fault he was given some of the worst Cubs teams ever.

    He's having a much better year than I thought he would be. I wouldn't be against landing him, but I'd rather it be a Jones+Reliever package.

    yeah, I looked and saw OSU loaded the bases, then next time I checked it was 14-3. Bummer for your guys, but I still hope Creighton eliminates them tomorrow. Arkansas eliminated + Mizzou win = Super Regionals in Columbia, yes? P.S. Jacob Priday is a God among boys. Yes, and it would = me going to Columbia to see it. And yes, Priday looks like he's played baseball before. How far do you think that second home run went, about 450 feet? Probably. It was absolutely crushed. Unfortunately all of this probably means Priday will leave after this year (at least from the grumblings I heard in the stands tonight), but if he helps get us to Omaha, who cares.
