  1. Oh my god, Niemi please. That was awful by Brian Campbell too.
  2. He may not look like a burner (I'd agree with this), but he's got freakishly long strides, so he basically just glides by everyone when he gets an opening.
  3. I'm so glad the Hawks play tonight. It's been a long 6 days.
  4. I really feel like this is something that should've been done at the end of the year. If we knew surgery was an option, he should've been shut down early. Now he's going to miss at least the first few weeks of the regular season while missing all of spring training? Great.
  5. Dirk Nowitzki went Brian Urlacher vs. the 2006 Arizona Cardinals on the Utah Jazz tonight.
  6. Wasn't it last year when Michigan St. lost to a D-2 school? It worked out ok for them. 2007. Lost to Grand Valley State in 2OT
  7. A lot of people seem to be hugely concerned about having to root for Kansas this weekend. I don't feel the same way, mostly because it boils down to this: Obviously we have to win out to win the North, which would put as at 5-3. That includes a win over K-State. I don't see the Wildcats winning at Lincoln either, but I do think they'll beat Kansas this weekend, putting them at 4-4 on the year. FWIW, this is how I think the North plays out: 1. Missouri (5-3) - Wins vs. Baylor, @ K-State, vs. Iowa State, @ Kansas 2. Nebraska (4-4) - Losses vs. Oklahoma, @ Kansas; Wins vs. K-State, @ Colorado 3. Kansas State (4-4) - Win vs. Kansas; Losses vs. Missouri, @ Nebraska 4. Iowa State (3-5) - Losses vs. Oklahoma State, @ Missouri; Win vs. Colorado 5. Kansas (2-6) - Losses @ K-State, @ Texas, vs. Missouri; Win vs. Nebraska 6. Colorado (1-7) - Losses vs. Texas A&M, @ Iowa State, @ Oklahoma State, vs. Nebraska Obviously since this is college football it could and probably all will change this weekend. I think Mizzou loses at Kansas and Iowa State wins vs. OSU. Then the Big 12 decides to pool the best players from Mizzou, Nebraska, KSU and Iowa State to lose to Texas by 30 in the Big 12 championship. Well, @ Kansas is actually in Kansas City...and I can definitely see Mizzou losing it, but in this scenario I'm playing it out as Mizzou is actually going to not be completely awful for a change and win out. Also - I fully support a Big 12 North Supergroup in the Championship game.

  9. She's just doing him a favor. What kind of parent wants their child to live in Manhattan, KS?
  10. come on guy let us enjoy it for a change. you don't have to talk trash until you beat us again in a few months
  11. Sounds pretty awesome, thanks for the link (which I somehow missed while perusing Rock M earlier). After reading that, I feel pretty good about our chances. We'll see what happens.
  12. So how good are our chances? Who else is considered a finalist for him? Any idea when he's planning on deciding? I really like our class so far, and adding a 5-star F to it would make it pretty amazing, imo.
  13. Mizzou got a commitment from Rival's 4-star DE Kony Ealy today. Ranked third in the state of Missouri and the 11th DE in the country. It's Mizzou's fourth 4-star commitment for the 2010 class, which is huge for the program.
  14. dont lose to baylor at home plz
  15. http://cdn2.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/83548/256hikj_jpg.gif
  16. i didnt get to see the game but i listened on the radio during my drive. it sounded like cutler was getting absolutely murdered back there. for winning by 24, the team sure didnt do anything to instill confidence in my for the rest of the year
  17. I'll be driving so I won't even see the game today. Hopefully that's not a good thing.
  18. sure, don't want to muddy the waters of all the riveting Missouri discussion Yeah that's what I was talking about. Good thing your wife put the kids to bed tonight so you could enthrall us with more riveting posts.
  19. can we throw "Iowa" on the word filter?
  20. that'd be kinda a load of BS since boise state beat oregon state and will presumably be undefeated. oh yeah, boise. meh.
  21. Assuming two of Texas/Florida/Bama loses and Oregon wins out, I'd have no qualms with the Ducks in the national title game.
  22. I might be alone here, but the Tennessee jerseys are awesome. Even cooler was how they introduced them.
