  1. nice first drive. kinda wanted cutler to run on that last 3rd down. i'll take a solid drive by the OL and a FG to open it up though.
  2. brian kelly and his vagina are really mad right now
  3. wow. though did he have complete possession before going out of bounds?
  4. thats it? #mizzouasu
  5. There's no chance of the non-rev sports staying in the Big 12 while the big dogs are in the PAC.
  6. manning @ was
  7. wells-turner britt
  8. these are tough. I say McCown and Lloyd
  9. yeah this is everything i've heard. Kansas, KState, Iowa State and Baylor haven't committed to not suing, but Missouri, Texas, Tech and Oklahoma State have said they won't sue, but they aren't giving up their rights. I'm pretty sure OU has agreed to the waiver because, who gives a [expletive], they're going to the Pac-12.
  10. iowa state and kansas would fit in perfectly
  11. It wasn't, but for some reason Yahoo thinks they'll all score the same number of points. ESPN is still listing Braylon Edwards at zero points, even though it's already been announced that he's not going to be suspended. ESPN is showing 5 for braylon for me in my head-to-head preview
  12. I hope that doesn't impact their acceptance into the SWAC.
  13. Well that's what you get for being the mopey Mizzou guy. I'm being partly facetious because there's really no scenarios that have Mizzou in a non-BCS conference at this point. But still, aside from "they have really good football teams and money", the SEC is a horrible landing spot. They are widely considered at the bottom of BCS conferences when it comes to academics, basketball, lunatic fanbases, ethics/corruption, obnoxious conference hivemind, etc. Every conference has things like that to an extent, though. Florida, Kentucky, Vandy, Mizzou, A&M isn't a bad top-five for a basketball conference. I don't buy that football would be a bottomfeeder in that league at all (they'd struggle at first, I'm sure, and they probably won't compete for conference titles in football, but it wouldn't be much different than it is now), and they could do big things to their facilities and to the athletic department as a whole with that type of money coming in.
  14. I'm sure it'd be a wonderful fiscal decision that makes my fandom borderline miserable. Big 10 Big East Conference USA/MWC SEC Being a Mizzou fan is already borderline miserable. I don't see the SEC making it that much worse. A non-BCS conference makes us 100% irrelevant.
  15. their QB is named Steele Jantz, so at least theyve got that going for them
  16. yeah Kansas is in way better shape than K-State, Baylor, Iowa State, that's for sure. I don't see Kansas getting left out in the dust at this point.
  17. Conference USA over SEC? You guys are [expletive] nuts. SEC is the best option not named "B1G."
  18. I heard the SEC vote was 10-2 to admit you. But I hope Baylor doesn't [expletive] this up. The Big 12 is dead, just finish it off. Oh you meant the original Big 12 vote. Ignore me.
  19. I heard the SEC vote was 10-2 to admit you. But I hope Baylor doesn't [expletive] this up. The Big 12 is dead, just finish it off.
  20. This is the team I'm happiest with this year. 12-team money league with my friends. My bench is kind of weak but I think I might have the best starting lineup top to bottom of anyone in the league, and I've got a few guys on the bench that I like to be decent sleepers. Had the 8th pick. I traded Marshawn Lynch for Julio Jones and Steve Johnson/Pierre Thomas for Maurice Jones-Drew within the past week. Will have an open roster spot after the trade for Jones-Drew goes down so I'll pick up another flex option. Drafted the Bears D but I like the Giants matchup better this week. Yes for some reason we have punters. QB Aaron Rodgers RB: Michael Turner RB: Maurice Jones-Drew WR/RB: Julio Jones WR: Mike Wallace WR: Jeremy Maclin TE: Vernon Davis D/ST: New York Giants K: David Akers P: Andy Lee Bench: Bears D/ST, Braylon Edwards, Mark Sanchez, Roy Helu, Jerome Simpson
  21. Good value on your QBs. I'm surprised Boldin went for so much. Team should compete though your bench kind of scares me. Rice and Wells could work out greatly though.
  22. yeah i'm just going to kind of wing it for a few weeks with that flex spot. i've also got roy helu on the bench who intrigues me. i think i've got a good enough team, especially now w/two solid RBs in a 12 team league, where i can play around with the flex until someone emerges or i snag a sleeper on the waiver wire.
  23. Check it. I just traded Stevie Johnson and Pierre Thomas for Maurice Jones-Drew. So do I start Edwards or Julio Jones for my flex spot?
