The Vikings have reportedly entered the mix for free agent LT Jermon Bushrod. The Vikes wouldn't carry two left tackles, so perhaps they're looking to upgrade on Bryant McKinnie. Bushrod has that potential, but he's been highly inconsistent in New Orleans. The Bears and Saints are also in on Bushrod.

Rotoworld: A source close to Greg Olsen tells NBC Sports Chicago the tight end is "not happy at all" with the recent trade talk and wants to play his entire career in Chicago. If Olsen is truly unhappy, he needs to sit down with his agent who is spreading the news of a potential trade. The Bears aren't going to meet his contract demands, so a trade looks like the best scenario for both sides.

Right, that's comparable. IU succeeding in football, to the degree they can, would essentially have no effect on me. It's not like Notre Dame and IU are consistently battling for recruits, and it's not like I said I hope IU is gonna compete for titles. I just have a few friends who are fans, that's all. Not sure why it's such a big deal, and I certainly apologize for offending all the non-IU B1G fanboys. If IU became above average, they'd be battling Notre Dame for recruits. At least the top state kids, and maybe some solid Illinois kids.

I wish he could've gone to Kansas. I really hope someday they'll start pulling in 5-star football players all over the place and become a consistently good program.

Huh, Mizzou was in the 30s last time I looked. If they can land Ondre Pipkins they should be looking at a top-20 class. Of course if they get DGB (not holding my breath) who knows how high they could end up.

Sweet. I've really warmed up on Sims-Walker. Him, Hester, Knox, Smith, Bennett would be solid, especially with Olsen and Forte. Of course it won't matter much if they don't add some pieces to the OL. Santonio Holmes returns to the Jets

Sims-Walker would be fine. I think Brad Smith would be a good replacement for Davis (actually he'd be a great replacement. Davis is useless) and Smith could fill in for Manning on returns if they don't want to use Hester for every return.

Of course as a Mizzou guy I want him though.
