Juan Pierre came in to score in the first inning. then jock jones got doubled off 2nd with the bases loaded killing a great rally, the pirates then scored on a infield single by joe randa. then the 8th inning came and matt murton hit the ball just out of the reach of jack wilson, jerry hairston came around to score.
