2 errors by the astros this inning. i would say a huge amount of luck was involved in this inning. did you see the wild pitch? how about ty wigginton with a double play ball dropped before they scored? There's a lot of bad teams in the NL that will beat themselves, allowing the Cardinals to stay up there. True enough.... but it just gets frustrating. We going into Houston and come out 1-2.... the Cardinals are 3-2 there. We go into Washington and come out 1-2..... the Cardinals come out 2-1 there. etc, etc, etc....

I remember that game well. I was living in Charlotte at the time.... and just 2 weeks later, I found out I'd be moving back to Chicago.

I'm totally with you. But it'll never happen. Limited replay, yes, but complete elimination of fat, arrogant, incompetent umpires? Never. I think the Cubs should send a petition into baseball, and asking them never to assigned the "brilliant" Cousins and Hernandez umpire crew to Cubs game again. It's apparently these two jerks have something against the Cubs. And everytime this crew umps Cubs games, the Cubs will automatically be at a disadvantage. Not to defend the umpires..... but we are 3-2 with this crew on the field this year.
