  1. Also 14 days 2 hours and 6 minutes until the first home game of the year. And 11 days, 4 hours and 6 minutes until the first quasi-home game of the year. ..... but, who's counting ?
  2. Start the thread the evening before the game.
  3. Wow !! This game turned around and went south in a hurry !! CUBS lose, 10-6.
  4. Just in case anybody didn't realize it, Nolasco is still with the Florida Marlins.
  5. Maybe it's best if you let me decide who should stop talking. What'dya think ? okay but make sure you take into account people who say the sun failing to come up in the next 3 years might be more likely than a guy dying in a car accident. thx Look, Dex, you need to get a grip on this concept. It's not against the board rules to be stupid. It's not against the board rules to be wrong; although neither are encouraged. It most certainly is against the rules to go around telling other people to shut up. Now either you straighten up and fly right, or pay the consequences. Thanx
  6. That, plus $1.39, will buy you coffee down at the truck stop, no?
  7. Hell, I remember a 2nd baseman we used to have that didn't completely shake of the "rust" until about half past May. Mickey "DLGM" Morandini? In his entire career, Morandini never shook the rust off !!!

  15. Where was it written that jersey number retirements would be based entirely and exclusively on a player's on field performance ?
  16. Am I on ignore? Should you be ?
  17. Will somebody please upload some coffee for Derwood ?? He's having trouble staying awake. Thanx.
  18. Yesterday I was having a similar circumstance to what CCP described. But it went away; through no action of mine. (I also have Vista & Firefox)
  19. Very. just checking. some call it 'sensationalizing' Oh..... hack !! I mean heck !!
  20. Very. just checking.
  21. I agree it doesn't sound stupid to me either. Fontenot-247/305/675 - last two years against LH pitching Miles-297/374/732- last three years against LH pitching So against LH pitching we could get either simliar production to 08 Theriot from 2b, or simliar production to 08 Cedeno? I don't think it will be a strict platoon, but this is what I think Lou will usually go with. Playing Fontenot everyday will probably make him closer to a 750-760 OPS guy, but play him against mostly RH pitching, and in a platoon. We could get close to 800 OPS from the 2b postion, even with Miles OPS bring it down. It still won't bring it down nearly as low as Fontenot would. I'm not really opposed to Miles playing vs lefties, but cmon, Fontenot has like 8 career ABs vs lefties. Prone to hyperbole much ?? 22. No personal attacks. I can't help myself, so I'll apologize for this up front. Is this a personal attack because he called your statement stupid, or because he implied you are a redneck ???
  23. Aren't ya gonna tell them WHERE to go ??? Depends, are you going to ignore board rules for a couple minutes? :-)) We can deal on this !!
