    Fields will make some amazing plays and some terrible plays. He will play some good games and some bad ones. if you choose to focus on the positive then you will lean towards promising/good. If you choose to focus on the bad ones, then you will lean towards flawed/bad. it seems to me that the reality is, he’s mediocre.

    Yeah he had control to the ground and then as he rolled over it came out. TBH I like that being a catch. If it’s my team I’m pissed if they overturn it.

    That’s the preferred outcome but every bone in my body was aching for that game tying FG. Not so sure that Doubs play was a catch. Isn’t that the same thing as the Calvin Johnson play, which was called an incompletion?

    I’m a certified Steelers hater and by extension a Tomlin hater too. But if he’s hired he becomes our guy and of course I’d be rooting for him 100%.

    Interesting week. The better outcome for us is for the Bears to lose and the Packers to win. So of course I’ll be rooting for the opposite. Irrational but it is what it is.

    What does it take to just get Naylor? He's improved with the bat every year he's been in the league. Lefty power, well on the north side of 100 OPS+, nearly drove in 100 runs last year. I'd want him for more than one year but if we're going to lose Bellinger he looks like a way to soften that blow considerably.

    It sounds like this is now the cost of doing business if a team wants to be in play for the big FA's. It's not my money but I think they should do it.

    Agreed. That Seahawks game-winning throw & catch was a thing of beauty.

    2023, the year of the backup. I think the Seahawks caught the Eagles at the perfect time, where the offense is clearly struggling. Is Hurts just regressing to where he will wind up being as a QB? 2022 might just be an outlier year for him.

    I’ll add that watching Trubisky fail miserably in Pittsburgh has been especially enjoyable since all Steelers pain is enjoyable. But also it’s validating that the pick was terrible. It felt bad at the time, and that’s because it was bad. All Poles has to do is just NOT MISS on this pick. Easier said than done but if we do go QB it’s exactly what a GM hopes to have. His pick of a brand new shiny QB. Don’t blow it bruh.

    I don’t want Williams. I feel like there’s a good chance he will hold the ball too long. Having a guy that extends the play is great but he’s got to also get the ball out quick when needed. I’d rather they draft Maye. Of course now that I posted this CW will be the next Stroud for another team.

    Silver linings, I guess we should be glad that we didn't find out the hard way that he's not worth committing money to. He did us a solid sucking this year.
