  1. Nate: "God blessed me with a lot of heart and no height." haha. love this kid.
  2. Really hard to grasp what this team is doing right now. Amazing stuff.
  3. Not only that, but he claims that he does advertising for a living, which makes him a [expletive] hypocrite.
  4. I didn't get that idea at all from what was written. It's just showing people what it would actually look like. I didn't see any anti-advertising spin. In fact, he mentions at the end how important the ads are likely to be to the whole thing. Look at the image credit, and then look at the guy's post in the comments section.
  5. LOL. The Renege.
  6. The guy who did that Wrigley rendering was trying to show everyone how horrible it will look. I think it looks decent. Well worth the extra money it will bring in.
  7. Sure. I think the chairman did as well. Im saying the Bulls didnt do enough to mitigate the PR disaster Rose is in right now, and I think we all can agree its a disaster. Rose is the reason this is happening, however, they should have done a better job shielding him. Hard to do that, when everyone can see him flying all over the court in practice. Are they supposed to try to make everyone believe he really can't dunk all that well, it's just an optical illusion?
  8. Probably a factor, but to me the biggest thing was when the Bulls let it be known that doctors cleared him. Then you see the footage of him practicing and all looks fine (admittedly to the untrained eye)......hard to understand.
  9. Man, the situation with this team in the playoffs both last year and this year. Bizarre-dom.
  10. Mwahahah. Luongo getting bitchslapped by SJ.

More like last year versus this April.
  12. I don't think anyone has forgotten this. Some people appear to think it is the neighborhood that makes the park, not the other way around. It's more that the people make the park, and Rosemont would be a huge downgrade in accessibility, and therefore walk-up traffic. Yeah, seems like teams want to try to move back in to the city rather than out. Cubs are a special case though. I think Ricketts needs to make the threat credible before anyone will listen. He would need to actually start going through the process, start making serious moves in that direction. He already did this with the Spring Training facility threats, so he's done this kind of thing before.
  13. He's trolling regarding something he clearly knows little to nothing about. I do know that Stewart is 3-32 at AAA Iowa. Must just be bad luck that is causing him to be batting .094. :hello: Just post that the first time.
  14. It does look to me like Emery's team made a decent recovery after fumbling horribly in round 1.
  15. It would seem that way but I don't think that's the case just based on Emery's comments. He had this guy targeted from the start. Which makes Emery all the more stupid Doesn't really matter what the reality was behind closed doors -- I'd expect any GM to come out and say "he was our guy from the beginning." I'm not taking his statement as-is. It's PR.
  16. Hundreds of women isn't very many at all.
  17. I doubt he'll be the starter in year 1. Emery said he can come in and contribute right away. I don't see any way for an OL to contribute right away if he isn't on the OL. And he was drafted in the first round, so he better freaking start somewhere. I'm basing that comment on the fact that he's pretty new to football overall. It's just hard for me to imagine a one year college OL just plugging in to an NFL line like he's been playing for years. I think they'll need to coach him up for year. Or maybe sit him the first half and start putting him in later. Maybe Emery & crew know what they're doing, I don't know. I still think it's a terrible value pick, and it sure looks to me like they got desperate when the run on OL took place earlier in the round. It's a better pick than Dallas & Buffalo................not saying much though. Looks like Dallas might've panicked on OL even more than the Bears did.
  18. To me it means he thinks he's out smarting everyone else. Extremely unlikely. Much more likely? He's not that smart. Which is bad news if you are a Bear fan.
  19. More like everybody realized he's not that good. Eh, I think he would have been 1st round.
  20. I doubt he'll be the starter in year 1.
  21. There was a lot of talk about how Te'o would not fall very much due to the scandal. As it turns out, it cost him.
  22. For the record, he also said Long is one of his favorite players in the draft.
  23. Mostly it's just hilarious how all these [expletive] drafts are a replay of each other. Major meltdown guaranteed. I just can't get how Emery would tie himself to a reach like that when he can see good value picks falling down to him. I usually hate CYA guys in business, but jesus. C your [expletive] A. Nobody's going to applaud you 3 years down the road for your willingness to go outside the box, if Long is released. They're going to double down on the calls for your head to roll, because it was a terrible value pick.
