  1. Think it reduces their 2019 Super Bowl appearances to that of 2019 Bears - 0. Well, the game isn't over, so at the moment, the chance that the Pack makes the SB is INFINITELY better than that of the Bears. It’s just that we’ve seen actual good GB teams and this one doesn’t match up to those, really in any way except Rodgers. They scrapped by with a lot of riff raff which is cool, but this game was what they really were when matched up against quality. I’ll admit some jealousy because the Bears NEVER turn horsefeathers to gold like GB, but I’ve watched enough football and so have you. This wasn’t a good team. That’s not an insult, just being real.
  2. Not over yet
  3. The Packers are losing, like, every single matchup up & down the line on those runs.
  4. Your Mom could have been 8-8, but you don't see me bringing up her point differential. Seriously though, the Packers were clearly the 3rd best team in the NFC. I'm not surprised they are getting stomped by the 49ers, but the reason they went 13-3 is that they were better than most of the teams they played. 8-8 is stright non-sense and some kind of 1% low end of possible outcomes. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/gnb/2019.htm - all the numbers suggest an average team, they did get some fortunate bounces, hell, the Bears weren't all that far from sweeping them. Those are definitely 8-8 type numbers. In searching for how those numbers result in a 13-3 season, the TO +/- and the TDs stick out. They scored when they had the chance and didn’t make mistakes.
  5. It’s one of those games where you feel like even a 17-0 lead won’t kill the Pack if they get stops in the 2nd half and Rodgers gets hot. Yea, but 27-0? Lololol Uhhh, no. [emoji16]
  6. I’m not a believer in Jimmy G at QB. The 49ers are going to horsefeathers around and let Aaron Rodgers pull this game out of his ass, I’m afraid. It’s one of those games where you feel like even a 17-0 lead won’t kill the Pack if they get stops in the 2nd half and Rodgers gets hot.
  7. I don’t get the TEN defense strategy. It’s 100% sure they can’t stop KC dropping into coverage...
  8. Yeah, it will probably be closer than last time, but the 49ers are a much better team. Packers need Jimmy G to make some bad decisions/throws to win. That's not too far fetched, he's a tick or two better than Mitch and completely capable of Mitch level bad play. If the Niners get the ground game going the Packers are done. Yeah at least the niners haven’t lost their entire RB corps and overall aren’t a broke down mess like the hawks.
  9. I would like to wait to see this game end before assuming the Packers are moving on I could see the Packers getting lit up next week, all the numbers suggest they're an average team, perhaps, the weakest number 2 seed in quite some time. Of course, they'll probably go all 2006 Cardinals (took a quick glance at Baseball-Reference, that was one horsefeathers WS winning team, didn't realize how bad) and win the Super Bowl. Well the niners trucked them earlier in the year but it’s usually much harder the 2nd time around. I still think the niners win. We’ll see.
  10. Niners, they're at home and GB's defense is vulnerable. Agree, 2/3 Packers losses were road games on the West Coast.
  11. So, Packers/Niners who do you like...
  12. My god those boys can run the football.
  13. Yeah that’s a tough one
  14. I don’t know why the Vikings keep trying to run it outside. That hasn’t worked for awhile now.
  15. Blah, fumbling away a victory like that is so damn frustrating. Great game though.
  16. TOs have been the problem all year...
  17. What a great win and season for the gophers.
  18. Game’s not over but at some point soon Michigan is going to have to conclude that the big games are too big for Harbaugh.
  19. He was never head coach material. Knew it when he left. I think a few others here were scratching their heads too.
  20. Whoever wins this game will be so battered and bruised I don’t know if they can hang with LSU.
  21. Without the threat of Dobbins OSU looks average. They’re desperate. Plus Fields is obviously not 100%
  22. What makes a team go all bonehead at the exact wrong times.
  23. Sigh, was hoping for a little more entertaining game than this but OK isn’t up to it.
  24. God forbid they eek out an 8-8 season next year. We know the Bears, they’ll be tempted to bring Nagy back.
  25. Trubisky was a runner, Mahomes was not. I’m not even sure he actually pushed him. Looked like Hollywood to me. But if it works then I give Mahomes credit for trying it.
