  1. Apparently the 300 Level isn't accepting new members currently. :(
  2. The $5 mil per year doesn't bother me nearly as much as the three-year contract does. Article says it will be backloaded to give payroll flexibility in 2010.
  3. Last year on New Year's Eve was the DeRosa trade and the ill-fated Aaron Miles signing. If nothing is announced tomorrow, which is the bigger disappointing NYE?
  4. This may bode well for me in regards to tickets if Capps signs here. Well... I'd have to shore up my connections, but let's just say "I know a guy". Who in turn, knows a guy who pitched with Capps in the Pirates organization. :)
  5. It would be funny if it was the White Sox. Not sure what the bad contract would be coming in return or who the PTBF would be.
  6. the MARINERS shot it down??? that means hendry was clearly going to do it but the mariners didn't want to. RICKETTS FIRE THIS BUM NOW. Shot down the RUMOR ... reading is fundamental.
  7. I've never had a problem getting signal at Wrigley. Who's your carrier? (I use AT&T, for the record) AT&T for me as well. It seemed fine before the game started, but if I wanted to look for updates around sports, I couldn't get a data signal.
  8. Color me skeptical for now... but I have all my websites on auto-reload.
  9. I never had signal at Wrigley Field; I assumed they put a block on during the game. Don't even know if that's possible, but I thought it was weird.
  10. Haven't looked to see if this has been discussed here, but if you want pitching help in a deal for Milton, while swapping bad contracts... what about ... Any two of Jeremy Bonderman and/or Dontrelle Willis and/or Nate Robertson for M.B. ??? Bonderman/Willis is insurance for Lilly and the rotation on the whole, while Robertson is a lefty for the 'pen. Bonderman (1/$12.5M) Willis (1/$12M) Robertson (1/$10M)
  11. Yes, but he's spent time in the AFL at 2B last year and some time in 2007 as well.
  12. I'm trying to change my password, and I fill out the form and click submit. When I logout and log back in, it still uses my previous password as the current. Is there something wrong with the password form and/or database?
  13. I amazed myself with some of my predictions ... both right and wrong.

  15. I will have the final standings posted later tonight, as I forgot my USB drive at home. :(

  17. I've been surprised at my placing, considering I've got 3 guys out for the year and my WC still on the DL with a sliver of hope coming back. In order for me to finish in second, I'd need Teixeira and Gonzalez to go ape---- in the last week-plus. That, and Branyan coming off the DL to smack a few homers for good measure. :)
