[tweet] [/tweet] and he's got his paralyzed dad in the stands, we're doomed. I dunno. I know I have a tendency to get in my head a bit when doing a show in front of my folks. Once I was Dotty in "Noises Off," my b/f sits right in the damn front row where I made my first entrance. I got through the opening monologue, but there were times during Act 1 that felt a little out-of-body.

Well, after LaStella went home to pout, maybe Maddon had to find a new target for an inexplicable man-crush. Oh, that's not fair. He did do well this year. Is there a thread here I can read about that whole LaStella AWOL business?

Plus it will be that much closer to your final install date, so - as Carl in "Caddyshack" would say - you have that going for you. Meanwhile, those of us who work on the West Coast get screwed out of seeing the first hour of the game. And in downtown Seattle, people are dressed for Seahawks Blue Friday, and a lot of them specially geared up in honor of Halloween. Don't they understand the CUBS are in the World Series??!

If so, would it be too much to hope for that they take it down and NOT replace it? To me, it just doesn't look right at Wrigley. Too yuppie or something.

I would think that Heyward should be in the lineup because his glove and speed might be needed with the wind blowing out to right. And the first thing I thought when I saw the lineup with Javy in 2nd was, "I wonder how many ground balls bad hitting Javy hits?" I also like the idea of Miggy catching tonight. And he's perfectly capable of grabbing hold of a pitch and sending it out, so who knows.

Will you be drinking Old Style with it? On a whim, I called Fred Meyer - one of the local (Seattle area) grocery stores. The guy had no idea what I was talking about. Explained - they didn't carry it, of course. I guess there's PBR in a pinch, but not the same thing; plus, the hipsters kinda glommed on to that one.

Soooo much prettier than Progressive Field. I preferred it when it was Jacobs Field and didn't have all those walls to make it look so claustrophobic.

Eh, get yourself a dremel-type power tool instead. It'll make floating the teeth quicker. Stick with a manual file, though, and you might not be done before the game.
