I think sending Cedeno down is the right move for the team at this point. As far as the outfield situation goes, I like all of them. For whatever reason, JJ has really turned it on since Pie came up. That's fine with me. JJ should see a lot of playing time until he cools off. I think Hendry should not be in a rush to trade JJ. I'd rather see him stick around until closer to the trade deadline. I think having all these OF's will come in handy during interleague games with the DH. I also would like to see Pie come in late in games when he doesn't start. I think having him in CF and JJ in RF late in games greatly improves the OF defense. If JJ is traded away, then the team is only a Cliff Floyd injury away from disaster. Sure Pie and Murton could play everyday at that point, but their backups would not be desirable at all. Pagan, Ward (I'd rather not see him in the OF), Theriot/Derosa (that means Izturis would have to start at SS.) I'm sure you see the point there. Oh...and we would have terrible pinch hitting options to look forward to. Ward would be the only legit threat off the bench. Other than that there would be Pagan, Izzy, Blanco, and a mystery player. Not looking too good at all. I'm just happy to see that Hendry made the right roster move for now. I like the OF as is and Cedeno was serving no purpose for the team.
