They are already [expletive] their pants. I mean look if the Cubs had been up 3-1 in this series and now it was going to Game 7, I would be [expletive] my pants too. lol. For sure. I'd have a doom boner of Holmesian proportion. -

I don't drink, but a bottle of champagne just went in the fridge, and I have every intention of opening (and draining) it in celebration tomorrow night.

I'm more concerned with surviving tomorrow night. Might need to buy an AED/defibrillator.

It's not the 20 pitches in a vacuum, it's 62 pitches over two games, and sending him back out after he tweaked his leg. Of course this is all in the moment reaction, but his use in tonight's game was simply unnecessary. We were up five (and then seven), and tomorrow night screams close game. I'm all for riding Chapman like the rented mule that he is, but I wan't him as fresh as possible.

This is absurd. For all the talk of Joe being a "confidence" guy, what kind of message does this send to the rest of the bullpen? I think this is the polar opposite of the Showalter/Britton fiasco. Absolutely flabbergasting.

Indeed, and I think the offense as a whole will benefit and take a significant step forward. The pitching will probably take a step back, but we're going to be a scourge on opposing pitchers.
