This is a prime time for the Cubs to gain ground. The Cards haven't been scoring at all and I'm not optimistic they will start on this roadtrip. As a Cardinals fan, I'll be happy with a split in both this series and the 4 gamer in Pittsburgh.

He's been a power guy over his career. I think he hit 30 bombs last year at AAA. He made an effort this year to cut down and try and raise his average some.

It seems like most pro athletes end up at least being superficially pretty conservative/religious. Meh. Not so much. His dad is the pastor at my church. How does "not so much" possibly make any kind of sense to what I said. It isn't the fact that he's a pro-athlete that made him a conservative Christian.

Eh; too old and the recent injury history makes me not a fan. Plus it seems like they'll be bringing Baez up as soon as they can. I'm still not all that optimistic about him, but it sure seems like he's who the organization is banking on replacing Castro. Plus he grew up a big Cardinal fan. So what? Well, he's one of us back road conservative Christians. Can't imagine anyone would someone like to play for the Cubs.

It's going to be quite the sellers market this year IMO. As a Cardinals fan, I hope the Cards stand pat...it'll cost too much to try and get offensive help. You don't need to make trades. Just call up some random [expletive] from AAA that will win the batting title I know that's a joke, but 2011 begs to differ. Trading away Rasmus changed that year completely.

The Cubs beat CMart pretty badly on May 4th in Stl. He's been really good since then, so I guess we will see if he's truly fixed something since then or if the Cubs have his number.

As a Cardinals fan, I hate new pitchers who they don't have video on. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Cards don't hit him. Also, Grichuk isn't a random OFer. He's a former first round pick who just happens to be very solid. I'll take the hate for Wong as a compliment to him. He's nothing but a solid baseball player. Him and Addison Russell could be good 2B for a long time. -
That's ridiculous. You give glory to God for all things, good and bad. All situations are learned from and something to give God credit for.

A liner into the corner isn't a fluky double. The rest I can agree with. Although it really wasn't that tough of a play for Russell to make. I didn't actually see the hit, but I was mostly referring to the player that hit it I see. That I can understand more. Although Bourjos isn't terrible, he really just hasn't had ample opportunity. My bad on the Russell comment, I guess that was the RF playing the IF?
