I don't get why you guys are so caught up in things like this. Some players/pitchers aren't championed in the minors and can develop into really good players in the majors. It happens quite often actually. Because it never seems to happen for us. Every once in a while we see some irrelevant dude like Donnie Murphy play out of his mind for a few months, but almost never do our marginal players develop legit, solid careers, which is what consistently happens in St. Louis. Jake Arietta went from god awful to one of the top 5-10 pitchers in baseball. Arrieta was always considered a top prospect with potential ace stuff. Same thing could be said for Jacob Turner but that one isn't working out obviously. Just luck of the draw really.

I'd let it play out but I really hope Blackhawks fans don't turn into Florida State fans and blindly support him because of the wins he brings. Can't bring myself to support someone like that.

You know John McDonough and the Blackhawks are beyond pissed right now, whether he gets charged or not. They were pissed at Crawford for getting drunk at the Rise Against concert and getting hurt.

I don't really care about this start, just don't understand what the front office sees in him. I mean they DID get him for free basically so it's not the end of the world but his FIP suggests that he could be a disaster. -

Just not a fan of Haren's at all. I'd rather send Wada out there and pray he doesn't get hurt. That 3.49 ERA/4.72 FIP suggests that even more regression is coming. -
So Randal Grichuk is like 5 times the player Bryant is right now. Which is about right.

Still think Addison is going to be the best player of the rookies for the Cubs. His defense is going to make him a 4+ WAR player every year once he starts hitting. -
I would hate wasting 2 good pitchers on a doubleheader, so fluky and hard to win two. I'd rather bring up someone crappy for one of the doubleheader games.
