  1. Does anyone know if they work out at their own facility on the mornings of days with road games?
  2. Mine would be your top 5, plus 7 and 8. What in the world? Not enough getting in? I honestly wouldn't put Sammy or McGwire in(I'm not a Sammy hater either). I'd leave Clemens off and put Bonds in before him, strictly because I think Bonds was a surefire HOFer w/o roids, while I doubt Clemens was. I'd put Clemens in eventually though.(and yes, I fully admit it's pretty dumb to not just put guys in immediately, if I'm eventually going to cave on them.) I think Edgar is supremely underrated and have no problem putting him in and I'd have no issue with Mussina, with his entire body of work coming from the AL East. Would you have put them all in?(on Tim's list) Clemens was at something like 80 fWAR from 84-96 with the Red Sox - he's a no doubter
  3. I think the schedule is wrong - they have the Dodgers listed at home at the end of May and then another home series with them in August.
  4. Haren and Hunter have probably been our two worst players since the deadline. If you would have told me that, I would have thought we'd be hanging around .500. You thought we'd be around .500 solely on the basis of our 5th starter and a middle reliever being the worst players on the team? They didn't make any major moves and they were floundering around the Trade Deadline. I know it's hard to remember that the Cubs weren't dominant like this a month ago. Yeah this doesn't make any sense
  5. Personally, I like Sweeney better than those guys. There's enough positional flexibility with the rest of the position players that I'll take his bat over the IF/OF ability of a Bonifacio or Callaspo. Once Bryant comes up you have a bench of Ross, LaStella, Alcantara, Denorfia, Sweeney, with I guess a slight chance that Olt or another RH(Castillo? Valaika?) could play his way into a roster spot in Sweeney's stead. I think Fowler in left and Alcantara in center is more likely than Alcantara on the bench. We'll see though
  6. (nvm, they changed it to 84) http://www.fangraphs.com/depthcharts.aspx?position=Standings
  7. LeBeau is 77 years old. I'll pass
  8. There was a lot of talk a few months back the mlb.tv blackout restrictions were going to be eased. I haven't seen anything lately but here's an article on it from August: http://www.techhive.com/article/2599202/mlb-tv-hints-at-easing-blackout-rules-though-not-for-cord-cutters.html
