  1. Over/Under on the number of pitches it will take Lilly to give up the lead: 10.5
  2. Explain plz. He was wearing sunglasses and a towel wrapped around his face like a bandanna. Lilly attempting to bunt for a hit. How cute.
  3. I'm still of the opinion that Cedeno could be a good everyday guy if he got a shot.
  4. Apparently Carlos Zambrano is ready to rob a bank.
  5. Which catcher do the Pirates have who always wears his gear that makes him look like Bumblebee from Transformers?
  6. Apparently the Pirates don't want the Cubs to GIDP this inning.
  7. He's not hitting his spots and the Pirates are keyed in on his offspeed stuff.
  8. Maholm hit a soft slicing liner to Theriot. Rather than get in front of it, Theriot decided he wanted to get behind it and play it barehanded. Predictable results ensued.
  9. Finally. Lilly might not make it through 3 at this rate.
  10. What in the heck was Theriot doing there?
  11. That fastball was nowhere near where it should have been.
  12. A Ryne Sandberg commercial? You know what that means! The minor leagues are supposed to be about the young kids. Helping the kids become major leaguers. He's only out for himself, just like he always was. All he ever cared about was winning - winning - winning.
  13. That would have been a lot more interesting on a neutral day.
  14. Lilly's offspeed stuff looks really hittable today. Good thing the wind is blowing in!
  15. I hate waking up to no food in the house. I love waking up to the Cubs, though.
  16. *Groan* Seriously, the injuries to the Cubs' minor league pitchers have been unbelievably annoying this year. It's unrealistic to expect everyone to stay healthy, but this year...sheesh.

  18. i'm going to take the under it should be like 5% If they play .500 ball the rest of the way, which is obviously doable, they'll finish with 87-88 wins. You think the Marlins and the Phillies will both finish with more wins than that? I think the Brewers have a better shot at getting 87-88 wins than the Cardinals do.
  19. So...you're saying you liked his curveball tonight?
