  1. Is that actually possible? I'm seriously lacking ideas here. The Cubs have hit some balls this series that should have been HRs, yet they end up on the warning track. This is demoralizing.
  2. Maybe they crank the AC up way high during the top halves of the innings in order to blow the ball down.
  3. I see we're back to hitting the ball right on the screws to Chris Young.
  4. Does anyone know why Soriano isn't with the Cubs because he could probably play blindfolded and hit better right now. Mostly it's about shaking off the rust and making sure he's fine in the outfield. He should be back soon!
  5. Ok. It's been used a lot before, but if it's now a problem, I can change it. Is fatty buns okay? I can dig it. Thanks!
  6. Soap Dropping works. Soapdropping it is then. Can we make up fun edits for the other big curse words, too? Depends on whether my proposed changes to the word filter go through... We'll see. :D
  7. My announcement in today's game thread applies here. Keep the language PG or else I'm going to have a few words with you.
  8. I see we're going to be bringing out the "bloops and tough grounders that the opposing team makes good plays on" hitters tonight.
  9. Just a friendly reminder to everyone. Keep the language PG. A lot of you have been riding the edge lately in game threads when it comes to swearing. Don't use cute variations that are one or two letters from the word you mean to use. Don't try sneaking something past the word filters. I've been really cranky and ornery lately. Don't test me.
